Final Draft is essentially Netflix's Physical 100 but on a smaller budget and less people.

However, where the show may lack with the large high concept sets and challenges, what it does do better is the way the show puts more focus on the contestants.

More time and care is spent showing the audience what its like for these athletes, who have now retired from their sports, struggling to find their second careers. By showing the contestants constantly talking to their family's at home, and by having less contestants to focus on, I felt a stronger connection and cared more about their journeys in the competition.

Final Draft still suffers from the same problems Physical 100 faces though, mainly the female contestant being at huge disadvantage with zero chance of being able to survive some of the strength based challenges. There's also times the challenges overstay their welcome and could have used better editing to move them a long.

Overall if your a fan of this genre of competition show, Final Draft will be a fun watch which you'll soon breeze through.

While this is a Netflix show, it's really a show which is very similar to something you would have seen on Channel 4 at some point in your life.

The show is advertised as Bear Grylls hunting down celebrity's in the jungle, but in reality he's just playing hide and seek with them in a closed off area. An area which, as you continue to watch the episodes, you soon realize is very small.

This premise is quite entertaining early on but becomes repetitive by around the third or forth time they do it since the escape roots are the same rotation.

The enjoyment is also ruined the moment it becomes apparent Bear knows exactly where all the exits of the "Bear pit" are, so he just waits close by for the celebrities to come to him.

Each episode could probably be helped by being a little shorter, as other than the odd bits of drama that the daily challenges create, they can feel a bit long as we continuously hear over an over about how hot the weather is.

Overall its just ok, something to pass the time if you want something easy to watch, but i cant help feel like it could have been a lot more than it is.

It was a fun finale (and season) but one thing which has always nagged me throughout, and was proven to me in this finale, is the lack of actual stakes and repercussion for the people who don't win.

Unlike the variations of the traitors that use regular members of the public, people who need the money, these celebrities are all paid a fee to be on the show. A fee that a lot of the contestants have clarified is very high, much higher than the prize they'll earn if they actually win the show.

It makes the ending lass climatic because everyone goes home with money regardless if they catch the traitors at the end or not. The final vote becomes less edge of your seat viewing than it should.
