  • They better set it up! If not they deserve to be cancelled.

No thrills, no substance, no direction.

Why are they wasting so much time on boring nothingness this season? The last few episodes have been during the daytime seemly all on the same day with characters wondering around with not much of anything interesting to do, other than just filling up space.

Are they trying to get themselves cancelled? Because it kinda appears that way. They don't really seem to care about quality in the writing. I unfortunately had to watch the last few episodes a few times because they were so boring they couldn't hold my interest. Which means if it's getting hard to continue watching this show, then axe time is coming.

If the producers and writers don't care! Then why should we.

  • 2.5 hours felt like 4

If you're expecting a non-stop, fast paced, high octane movie like Fury Road you'll be sadly disappointed with this outing. The first half is slow. Not to say there aren't interesting points but it could have been tightened up instead of dragged out.

The last hour is action packed. Not great but also not terrible.

There's a lot of call backs to Fury Road, almost as if they were going for a nostalgic vibe but that movie is not even 10 years ago yet.

If you didn't know beforehand that Chris Hemsworth was in the movie you wouldn't know it was even him. He's rocking prosthetic nose and teeth and speaks in a high pitched nasal voice.

  • Meh. Not really all that funny

The fact that this movie did so well proves how bad this summer is for movies. I don't see what the big deal is, it felt like a mixed bag of boredom with some entertainment. There's a few laughs, few and far between that is.

If you're interested in seeing this film I can't recommend paying your hard earned money that's required to see it in the theatres. Not to mention if you want popcorn and snacks. I recommend Wait until it's on a streaming service you already have or at your local library where you can get it for free. But like so much nonsense out there, this is not worth It.

One side note it was a pleasure to see Rhea Perlman again. She's always delightful.

  • Predictable.

I love mysteries because they are stories that require you to think but hardly anyone does them anymore. So am grateful when someone does. I first saw this film when it was given a limited theatrical release in November 2022 I took some time to gather my thoughts about it. But my opinion hasn't changed. It was so blatantly obvious to me that I was so hoping it was just a red herring. But alas it was not. Only one part of the story pleasantly surprised me. But the rest I saw coming.

As I said I love mysteries and hardly anyone makes them anymore. So I'm glad someone did. I just wish there had been more intelligence in the writing.

  • Star Wars is dead please just let it Rest In Peace.

There is no reason for this story, this miniseries to exist. This is an absolute pointless story. It contradicts the meeting and better story between Obi-wan Kenobi and Vader in the original Star Wars.

  • Weakest in the trilogy.

I didn't care to much for this one. I found it weak bland and boring. The script could have used some of that super fuel they use on the steam engine in this film because the story certainly ran out of steam. It does have its charm, but in comparison with the first two after all these years for me it still can't hold a candle them.

  • Honest short review.

I'm not a big superhero fan so the film starts slow, the first hour and a bit drags. All I knew going in was it had something to do with the multiverse and the previous doc ock from the 2000's was in it.

It's Heavy on nostalgia so if you are a sucker for superheroes and namely Spider-Man, you might get sucked in. Superhero/Spider-Man fans in the audience were talking that they felt the ending was painful. I'm not sure what they meant, maybe it was a criticism or something emotional, but for me it was just an ending. It's a good movie, not a great one. You may fine the first half slow, but it does pick up.

  • Should have been the series finale.

This 3 part episode would have worked much better as the final episode. Al & Peg call it's quits and go their separate ways. But after all the years of misery their love and devotion for each other is stronger than most and ultimately they can't stay apart from one another.

This would have been the perfect conclusion to the series. Now when I rewatch this series I save these 3 episodes for the end as a 3 part finale.

  • Guilty pleasure

I've always loved horror anthologies, so it was a pleasant surprise to discover that this was an anthology when I first saw this movie when I rented it at the video store about 20 years ago (when there still were video stores). I had rented it along with another horror anthology called Campfire Tales(1998), which was another pleasant surprise.

Because I had rented both films it had made Quicksilver Highway a bit more fun to watch with the addition of a scene in one of the stories where a husband mentions a creepy yarn to his new wife about 2 lovers that are attacked by something while they are all alone and in their vehicle one night, the man manages to run for help. Then in the morning the woman awakens to the sound of scrapping on the vehicles roof. It's discovered that the scrapping is caused by the knuckles of her dead lovers body that's hung upside down from a tree above. The reason why I say the mentioning of that tale made it a little more fun was because that happens in one of the segments of Campfire Tales.

    Both are worth the watch.

  • Not a worthy follow up to Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead

This is not a sequel to 2004's awesome flick Dawn Of The Dead. Awesome this is not. I wasn't hyped to see this, but I was looking forward to it. Am I disappointed? Yes. This 2 and a half hour big budget mess that felt like it was rushed into and then out of production. My stars because the acting is ok and I felt generous.

  • A very important film

I was discussing with family and friends not that long ago of the huge increase of cancers in the past few decades. There was a time that we rarely ever heard of it. Now it seems rampant. Then when a movie like this comes out about a greedy corporation that had been knowingly poisoning and killing people for decades it sheds some light on claims lately often hear of things like chemicals and even stuff in our foods being greatly responsible. Of course these companies care only about profit and so they put out their smoke screen. Then lo and behold this film comes out. It is about a corporate lawyer that is asked to look into a matter dealing with one chemical company. I won't give anything away just to say it's a must see. I also love the ending.

  • It had moments but is a weak entry in the Jurassic park series.

The Jurassic park films are a guilty pleasure for me. I don't go to see them for their lack of story but for their visual effects dinosaur action. The film didn't have much in the visual action area. The story was trying to be different I get that, but in a franchise that exists because of its lack of story and strength of visual action it didn't really work for me. The movie had moments but ultimately it's boring

  • Awesome

One of my all time favourite documentary tv shows. The show much like National Geographics Aftermath Population Zero was inspired by the book The World Without Us by Alan Weisman. But to bad that this series only ran for 2 seasons. I Love seeing how nature could make a comeback in a big way if humans just somehow stop the destruction. But just as in Aftermath and The World Without Us, In this show it is if humans all disappeared for some unknown reason. Love how they back up their beliefs with evidence.

Maybe I'm just sick of superhero movies. But I found myself bored and so sick of the mindless violence in this film that really just lacks a good strong story at its core. Superhero movies have overstayed their welcome for me. This is the last one I'll go to see I'm done.

  • Awesome style western

John Carpenter who wrote and executive produced this film had often said that he was a big fan of westerns. He must have jumped at the opportunity to make this film and another western the following year, titled Blood River. True to form this is a Western in the truest sense with some fine adjustments.

  • AWESOME!

This is the best SIFI Horror Film that I've seen in ages. Genuine suspense. The only problem is that it was 90 minutes. But in that 90 minutes it Succeeds where other SIFI horror films have not.
