This movie is rudely copying the western style. Not to mention that the guns they fire, old shotguns that can only hold a bullet- fire continuously like they were machine-guns :) quite funny. Some suspense and pub-fights ... and a little preview on Romanian way of life in the 19th century. Anyway, in 1985 when this movie was released,the romanians' access to the outside world was limited, fact which makes this movie appreciated more than it should be.

Anyway, it is fun to watch, has an interesting plot - inspired by real historical facts- and nice lines.

I recommend it only if you are accompanied by a romanian, for a good translation of the lines and a background explanation of historical events.

I don't understand how it got to have 5.8 I still can't believe I PAID to rent it AND I WATCHED it. What a waste of film roll... an idiotic plot, lots of holes in the script, bad acting... and it all ends with a bunch of guys feeding dinamite to a dragon.

Don't watch it! Don't waste your time, people !

I can't watch it to the end; it is really insulting my intelligence. The Evil Tooth-Fairy is in action again! Can a story get more lame than that? No special effects, some no-namers as actors and spooky music from a cassette player. My neighbor's cat sounds better and hand shadow figures on the wall are more spookey effects. 2 out of 10.
