To be honest I really loved this movie. It has a very strong story and very powerful characters with which I can relate. It is not one of the superhero movies that let me thinking that I am out of place, with strange characters with which it is impossible to relate beyond a cartooned sense of connection. This is a real movie with real people, real stories.
Low budget yes, reported well below $1M...unreal! Family clean story...no lame CG...all real. As any low budget has some budget-constraining issues but the vision and passion well out weigh...7 stars!

This is a fantastically well directed movie with wonderful actors and a good story line that grabs and does not let go. In fact it is so good that the director has come out with a new web series based on this film at ClutchTheSeries(.com), if you like the movie you should definitely check out the web series, and vice versa. The web series is free to watch and in this way you can get a feel for the movie. This I think should become more of a trend for young film makers to get the foot in the door: get some exposure on the internet and build a loyal following of fans is a good idea in my opinion. And "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead" is a leader in this field. As this demonstrates, watching this movie is good idea above and beyond entertainment as well. It is a trend setter in many ways, I loved the cinematography and the stylish, elaborate camera work. By watching a fantastic, forward looking movie like this you will feel more comfortable in the the future of cinema! It is that good.
Loved this movie. In the latest craze of slasher, slash, occult mania, this movie stands out with it's silly take on the genre.
The director takes a comical approach that is very entertaining. Dahmer and Gacy are the two blood thirsty villains (at times literally), who spread fear and body parts throughout the movie. They escape from a genetic experimental center that had been tasked with bringing the most blood thirsty serial killers back to life. A fun and gory hour of mayhem follows.
I watched the movie with a few friends and it is a lot of fun and appeals to a lot of tastes. It is so ridiculous that you have to watch it. 10 Stars!
