Okay, so I've seen the original a million times and it's a great movie, with great songs and great actors. But that doesn't mean the second one can't be great as well. It could be me but there don't seem to be as many songs as in the first, but I can be wrong. What I do know, is that they have an extraordinary choreography and as a dancer, it's something you notice. Sure, I missed John Travolta, but we got Michelle Pfeiffer this time. And you have to admit, Michael is cute! I like Stephanie a whole lot better than Sandy and she reminds me more of Rizzo. We still have Frenchy to remind of us the first movie, not to forget Miss McGee and Blanche. And, as last time, a big party to conclude the schoolyear of 1961 with a Luau prom at Rydell High... All together, I thought it was a great movie, funny, good choreography and fun songs. Definatly worth seeing!
The fabeltjeskrant was like, the show everyone watched and knew. It has been showed to a few generations, and you won't find a single Belgian or Dutch person who hasn't seen at least a minute of this show. I grew up with it, but so did my brothers, and that's not so normal since they are 8 and 12 years older than me, and we all enjoyed it. Now, reruns are being shown on some stations and I think it's one of the best shows for little children, even now you have really soffisticated ones, I assure you, they'll love it!
I love love love this show! I'm a teenager, and it's one of the few flemish shows we can actually watch with our whole family and with everyone liking it... It's a shame to see so many good characters leave, but they always seem to find new interesting people. I only hope that rumor of Andrea Croonenberghs quitting the show isn't true, because she's really an enormous asset to the show. The duo Pasmans and Raymond are so funny, their really a comic act on their own, big applause to them too. Really, if you speak dutch, or have subtitles in other languages, you should watch the show, it's pure entertainment every sunday night.
