  • Anyone could make better tv than this...

...if they got the same money to produce whatever. Even if you have a Name, you shouldn't just be allowed to do anything. But well, children up to the age of 10 or men still on the level of 10-year-olds may appreciate the level of humour. Else, I suggest this show to be avoided.

  • Ultimate torture method

I tend to stay awake late and "enjoy" late night tv. I can survive 2 episodes of LAPD: life on the beat, I can survive Walker, texas ranger, and I even live through that aussie women's prison series (though I do hate the hairdo's and the clothing very much).

BUT, they found the ultimate method of trying to make me shut off the tv. Something so awful as to make me wonder if it will render me hearing impared, or give me the shakes whenever I see a tv set. It is called Sister said, and it is the foulest production ever made.

There is a bunch of dull & silly girls, doing dull & silly things and inbetween they sing dull & silly songs. The same songs, over and over again. There is a short scene, a song, a scene, a song, etc for ever and ever. They don't sing that well, need I add?

My best guess is that this (hopefully) is the least successful attempt ever to launch a girlband.

My worst is that it is an ancient form of torture: "Drives ANYone Mad In Merely 30 MINUTES!!!"

    Worst crap I EVER SAW.

And I dare say none will beat it.

I also feel proud that I actually sat through 4 straight episodes of it (who would air it? who would send 4 episodes on a row (4-6 a.m.) - swedish TV3!). Ohno, they couldn't break me! (insane laughter)

  • Still just as scary...

I remember how it scared the s**t out of me when saw glimpses of episodes and some full ones as I was 11 years old and it was on for the first time. I remember how I still could percieve how great it was and I already knew what kind of an actor Ernst-Hugo Järegård is. Absolutely noone could have done his part better. What I didn't expect was that it would be just as strong an experience for me now, after getting the DVD, to see it again. The Kingdom must be seen by anyone who enjoy the elaborate tampering with nerves from the other side of a screen. The Danes have made a lot of good TV, for some reason. We've still got Bergman, but they do have von Trier. So, I say like Ernst-Hugo's character would: "Danskjävlar!"
