  • Was the last of a dying breed

A very good creature feature show. It showed some great cheesy movies. Then the show was cancelled, I don't know why, it must have had a fairly strong following as most Horror Shows do, it's on at Midnight so ratings were going to be great anyway. Now they show the Canterbury report and some crappy movies afterwards but the movies have no fun campy nature that the movies show on this show had. Too bad, this had some great movies and the host segments were watchable. For shame KSTC, it was my favorite local station with Horror Inc. and it's late night offering of Saturday Night Wrestling. Certainly not the best show ever produced on a independent station in the Twin Cities (Mystery Science Theater 3000 on KTMA 23 takes that win easily) but a damn fine show none the less.

  • Better than a kick in the pants

This may be the second worst TV movie ever made, only Overdrawn at the Memory Bank maybe worse but that at least had Raul Julia. But this is one bad, predictable and cheesy movie that I was forced to watch in school. Firstly it is incredibly overacted and all the performers were way over the top it became funny. Secondly you knew that it was going to be some moral lesson about Nazism since that's how it started and once they went to meet "the leader", it would turn out to be Hitler. Finally, it was incredibly cheesy, they were completely oblivious that it was exactly like the Nazi party. Even with the armbands, symbol, salute, creed, signs, followers only two people were able to figure out that it was like the Nazis. Hell if they started killing Jewish people I don't think they would have figured it out. Someone behind me kept commenting 'this doesn't happen in the real world' and she was damn sure right. Back in the early eighties this movie may have worked but today it's so incredibly dated it becomes pretty bad but laughably funny like a Plan 9 from Outer Space. The whole entire class ridiculed the movie but not very well. The movie would only be good with a guy named Mike or Joel and two robots in the bottom right corner.

  • WORST MOVIE EVER MADE!

Okay here is the scoop. This was an unfinished movie that a few added scenes and was edited together almost at random, so it could be used as part of a double feature. That is why everything is all screwed up, that and the initial inept directing, crappy acting and other such.

Monster A Go Go, it sound like the name of a bad camp movie, but it's really the name of a bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad horror movie. It is the worst movie ever made. The reason most MSTies say Manos is worst is because it's a more popular episode because Joel & the bots could make fun of it more. This however was too hard to make fun of. In the MST3K book (Amazing Colossal Episode Guide) they note this was the first time in a while that they didn't do any host segments related to the movie, because NOTHING happens. Manos, had intriguing characters like Torgo, The Master, and hell even Debbie. This has Henry Hite with some mud on his face for two shots.

Only see this movie on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Even then it isn't that good as they don't really have anything to work with.
