  • Worst than the Jaguar commercial

And that is to say a lot! I couldn't bare more than 10 minutes of this. Really. We shut this off before 10 minutes. The actors are soooooooo bad. I really felt I was watching the Jaguar commercial over and over, not stop.

It's cringeworthy. But after some time it stops being funny and you just ask "why am I doing this to myself"

And I mean, I watch the Lampoons Christmas Vacation every single year. So I DO have the patience to see bad acting and Christmas silly movies. But this was too much.

I'll go back to laugh myself loud watching the Jaguar commercial again, LOL.

And for the last characters, merry Christmas.

  • Starts great, until THE MESSAGE begins

It was supposed to be an awesome movie. The premise is great. It's very catchy from the start, it really holds you into the story, and you begin to identify with all the characters.

However, around 40 minutes inside the movie, the first MESSAGE is thrown into you.

Since the movie is great, then you just ignore it (as always) and just keep going. However, you already start thinking "why did they have to do this". But ok, keep going.

Then, around 10 minutes later another MESSAGE is thrown in, without any need at all.

At this point you kind of already know that unfortunately will be the rest of the movie like.

I kept watching for another 5 min, until the third MESSAGE was thrown in. That's when I just stopped the movie. It was enough.

Another great idea killed by THE MESSAGE.

Graded as 3, because the original premise was great.

  • Bad, even for a Shy Malayan

I don't even know how to write his name, but you know who I'm talking about

When you see a Shy Malayan movie, you know exactly what you'll get. A very nice trailer, turned into a horrible movie. There is no news on that. His Sixth Sense reputation is the only thing that still keeps the flame burning for this guy

However, usually his scripts are awful, but the actors are decent. I mean, this guy got Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix once!

Yeah, sure, he is normally a total mess. But man. This piece of trash got to a whole new level of awfulness.

If this was intentionally bad, it would deserve a full 10, because it's SO BAD that you laugh your lungs off. The main wife has probably never act before. Even the coral has better acting skills than her.

But man, at the end you realize this was not a joke. Shy Malayan wanted us to take it seriously. And that is too much.

The irony of all this, is that it seems that the movie last for loooooooong looooooooong years...

Well, another Malayan right in the spot.

  • Just not 10 because it needed a real villain

I've seen many comments mentioning that the movie is great in so many aspects, but has no story. I think great part of it is because the villain story is so weak. It's that kind of villain that's just there to be beaten at the end. Her motive is so weak that you don't feel the real threat. Basically "I love living in the void, so ultimately I want to kill all other realities so the void is the only one". Even though it makes no difference for the if the others realities exists or not, since she only lives in the void.

But ok, enough with the bad part (in my opinion)

The movie is great. Not only because all of the obvious things (cast, nostalgia, cameos, soundtrack, etc), but mainly because it's a ray of hope that MCU can eventually get back on track. The movie specifically admits that the MCU is failing, that the F'd up.

Of course there's a possibility that this is the money grabber so they can then continue making bombs like Shehulk and Marvels, but i don't think this will be the way.

Deadpool is a delight for the fans. And I'm happy to see that Disney didn't mess up this great character.

  • You can't change the end of a real story, you all know that, right?

I'm surprising on how may people are complaining about the end, wanting it to be different.

IT'S BASED ON A TRUE STORY! You can't just change the end!!!

Some people want to see a movie about Titanic in which they shoot the iceberg down and go through it safely, and then arrive at New York to eat some hot dogs, lol

The series is great, is intriguing, it gets you tighten to it. Acting is good enough, the cast is also great.

My only concern, is if the viewer suffers some kind of anxiety issues, because this could be a trigger for it. Specially on the first two episodes it's a little bit suffocating, but that only reinforces the great job done.

  • Once again Netflix kills Blockbuster

Yeap, the irony on this is gigantic.

I made a HUGE effort to like this, since I really enjoy Park and Fumero. Also, the main purpose of the show was very intriguing for me.

The pilot episode wasn't funny at all, but i thought that's ok, because many many shows kind of fails on the pilot, since the characters are not comfortable yet, but from the next ones on, get better (Friends and Big Bang Theory are two good examples of this).

The thing is, I saw the second, then the third, and no single laughs were given at all. By the middle of the fourth episode (see, I was REALLY trying), I just couldn't bare this anymore. I felt really bad for the actors, because they seemed like that stand comedy that the host didn't managed to get the audience, but anyway has to stay on stage till the end of the show.

Anyway, it's really ironic how the company that ended Blockbuster's business, had the ability to do it one more time.

  • Must be watched at 1.5x to be Good

It started well. First episode was quite good, it keeps you very tense all the time, it gives you a claustrophobic feeling. The second one was fine, but way slower. On the third one I caught myself too many times watching my phone, wishing for the episode to be over already. The solution was to watch it in 1.5x. This was the game changer for me. It became a perfectly paced show once i speeded it up.

Apparently I'm an exception here, because everybody seem to love it at it's original pace. But this is waaaay to slow for me.

So, unless you're a huge fun of extremely low paced slow-burn genre, i suggest speeding it up, and then you'll have a great experience with the show.

If you're expecting a movie with George Clooney fighting bad guys while he sprays cologne, you'll be dissapointed.

This is a movie that goes deep into one of the darkest period in Argentina's dictatorship.

It's a quick movie for when you just wanna feel silly and have some laughs. The good thing about it is that it doesn't try to be more that it really is, and that's what makes it fun and decent.

  • Nice movie, but way too long

The story is ok, but this movie could have easily had 90 to 120 minutes tops.

The movie is way too long for what it has to offer. When you get to see a movie like interstellar, you have the same 150min, but it goes so fast you can't even notice it.

This movie, however, has a reeeeealy slow pace, way to many "visions" from the main character (ok, we get it, the girl is important, 2 or 3 visions of it would have been enough, we don't need to have the same visions 7, 8, 9 times).

Honestly I don't know if I'll have the patience needed to see a the sequels.

  • Be aware this is a KIDS movie

My 5 grade is because the movie wasn't clear about the target audience. Had I known it was intended exclusively for kids, I wouldn't have chosen another movie to watch.

And it's not BECAUSE they're children. Stranger Things has exactly the same actor, among other good ones, and it's a family show.

If you're a kid, you'll probably like it. If your an adult, you'll probably like the first 20min and the last 10min. You'll bored the rest of the time, but those last 10min can be a silverline.

Not good, not bad. Just 5/10.

  • Ignore all the "1" and "10"

You can ignore all the extremist grades, because they're obviously biased.

In my humble opinion (as a 41 yo) I'm just watching it because it's marvel, and will have a connection with the '23 Capitain Marvel movie.

As a show for itself, it is indeed aimed for children (not for the whole family, but specifically for children)

Maybe if i was a teenager I'd like a little bit more.

Maybe if I wasn't such a huge marvel fan, I'd probably like it a little bit less.

Btw, there are currently only 2 episodes aired, so there's a good chance things will gear up from now on. Fingers crossed.

    UPDATE: Yeah, they didn't.

If you're looking for a comedy, get far from this. It's a thriller without a single bit of comedy in it. It's ok, it's nice to watch. But it's no masterpiece. Netflix should REALLY review their classification system.

If you're expecting to see Superbad, poo-poo jokes and stoned up teenagers making noises, this is not the film for you. Just don't undervote a movie simply because you don't have the brain needed to watch it.

  • Honest review

It's exactly what you can expect. An action film with The Rock and R. Reinolds playing their funny action roles, and Gal Gadot being boring, with no expression what so ever, as she always is. But it's good enough to have a couple of hours of fun time with zero thinking needed for it. It's like watching Sonic.
