  • Seen 'Em Both. Love 'Em Both.

Sure, I wasn't around for the Footloose hype (if there was ever one) of the 1980s when the original movie came out, but alas, I did see it. I have also seen the remake. And I believe them to be great movies!

I just got back from the theater, actually, and found the film to be quite enjoyable! It's great fun! But not for all ages. A bit too raunchy for the little kids that want to get up and start singing.

Story tells of Ren McCormick wanting to oppose the law of no dancing in the town of Boumont. The plot is a little flat throughout most of the movie, but the great cast seems to make this movie a worthwhile entertainment ride!

Now, the movie doesn't have as much dancing, but I will give it that Kenny Wormald really has amazing dance moves! And Julianne Hough (known as a country singer) has some great acting chops! Especially in the scene with her Reverend dad, played by Dennis Quaid.

It's a little too raunchy for parents to bring their kids to. Lots of sexual themes and language. But if anyone is looking for a film to just smile at, this is your movie!

But the real talent goes to Miles Teller, the dimwitted redneck, Willard. Every line that he had, the audience in the theater would just burst out into laughter! The funniest/best scene of the movie is arguably where the girls are teaching him how to dance, and he starts to dance everywhere!

    Great movie! 8/10

  • Shake It Up...Turn It Off

Alright, I admit, when I first saw the show, I thought it had potential. But after more and more episodes were produced, I really was just annoyed.

The promos for the show were absolutely...dumb. But I thought it could exceed my expectations.....sadly...they fell flat.

Let's start with the characters, shall we? CeCe Jones- When I first saw her, I thought she was a better actress than Zendaya.....I was mistaken. She tries way too hard just to be the "Disney Channel Queen" and to actually be as good as past DC stars. She's really just a 13-year old girl who thinks she can be all that when she really isn't..like Miley Cyrus. (Though her show was a hit) Rocky Blue- WTF kind of a last name is "Blue"? Rocky is slightly annoying. She can be funny, and I sometimes compare her to Raven. But Raven was funny and not trying to be all that, like Bella Thorne (CeCe). Rocky is over-the-top and trying to be a likable character. She's also trying to make funny dialogue that will stick with fans and become trending ("HIT ME WITH A RACCOON!") was a line that was WAY TOO over-selled.

Flynn Jones- He's annoying. Too twitchy and always looking at the camera. But I do admit that he's very talented.

Ty Blue- He's a great dancer! But he's not a great actor. He's a bit cocky, but he's probably one of the most likable characters.

Deuce Martinez- He's just too cocky and conceited. He's also not a very good actor either. His character is pretty irrelevant to the show.

Gunther and Tinka Hessenheffer- The ONLY reason why I give 2 stars is because of these 2 characters! They are the funniest blonde duo since Ryan and Sharpay! They are the epitome of the show and I enjoy watching every moment of them on screen! They're sassy and very witty, but also very snarky! They're great! Henry Dillon- He's my favorite before G&T. He is very smart and he's hilarious! I hope they keep his character if this show unfortunately keeps running.

The show is pretty much over-produced and just a big waste of money. The jokes are corny, the stories are lame, the acting is bad (Except for the 3 characters I named), and my biggest problem is that the main stars are just unappealing. Usually, with DC shows, you would have good-looking characters for the show to keep it a hit (Lizzie McGuire, Suite Life, Hannah Montana)...but these?....not.

    2/10 for me.

  • Hor.Ri.Ble.....but I'm addicted.

This show has probably got to be the most stupid show on television right now. Cameras following a group of locals around New Jersey as they try and struggle through not getting too drunk or having so much sex that their crotches hurt in the morning.

Thought...I always want to know how this show keeps you tuned in. Honestly, I hate this show, but I CAN'T STOP WATCHING IT! I once sat in a basement watching about 3 hours of it. Maybe it's because people like drama? Or they just turn in because it shows people what NOT TO DO. It's honestly a horrible show. But....why is it so appealing? 20-something year olds talking like they're spoiled, rotten 13 year olds. It's honestly just stupid. And girls thinking they can come in just about anywhere and bitch off to someone is just insulting. They make Italians look like the f*cking morons.

It's usually just sex, alcohol, and partying for these idiots, but I sometimes just want to know what will happen next.

Don't watch this unless you REEEEEEEEALLLLLY are bored.
