  • Not as good as the series, but still worth watching!

This movie mostly received negative reviews, but i don't understand why. It was quite funny, though you can't compare it to the series. The series spoofs several other series and movies, while the movie mainly spoofs "Drawn Together" itself.

The movie is a bad-taste-comedy, that for sure, and people who only laugh about intelligent humor won't find this film funny. But the fans of DT will know the humor.

I know some people think this movie should be rated NC-17, but i think it's an absolute R rating. There is nudity, but it is not represented in a sexual way. And there is sex, but without nudity. This is not a porn movie or something. The violence in this movie is very comical, though bloody, but i think if the movie would have no sexuality and only violence it would have been rated PG-13. There is frequent sexual language and profanity but it is not stronger than in Jay and Silent Bob, which had the R-rating. Actually i think this movie's BBFC rating would be rather 15 than 18.

The animation style may is not as good as the series' animation style, but it is not as terrible as anyone says.

The plot starts with a very good idea - but it gets really weird and strange around half of the movie.

I think the movie is worth watching and i found it good, though i prefer the series.

  • Funny parody of an over-hyped movie

First of all, the movie is from the creators of "Spy Hard", "Scary Movie 1", "Date Movie", "Epic Movie", "Meet the Spartans" and "Disaster Movie". So, if you didn't liked these films, you won't like this one, either. If you liked them, you'll have your fun with this spoof.

I want you to know, that you have to see the movies "Twilight" and "New Moon" first, before you watch this one. You may get some jokes, but most of them will seem odd to you.

The thing is, the movie is not intelligent or something, and the gags are very simple.

Most of the jokes are vulgar, gross or violent. The movie doesn't push the PG-13 rating, however. All of it is done in a comic fashion and, especially for the violence, it is that comical and unrealistic that every teenager will handle the film.

If you liked the writer's previous works, you'll like this one, too. Don't expect something like Mel Brook's movies - rather something like "Epic Movie".

I watched this movie in theater and i laughed quite a lot.

I recommend the movie for children 14 and up. It has some violent scenes but the scenes are quite unrealistic. The movie also has some rather strong sexual content, such as a SM scene, a sex doll and frequent sexual talk. The unrated version actually isn't much stronger.
