This movie wasn't as bad as everyones making it out to be. It wasn't HILARIOUS like There's Something About Mary, or Me, Myself & Irene, but it was still a good flick. It had some pretty funny moments in it though. But I thought it pretty much lacked a solid plot, which I guess is why mostly everybody didn't like it. I'm assuming everybody was expecting another Dumb And Dumber, or maybe a Shallow Hal, but since this wasn't the case, everyone thought it 'sucked'. I'm guessing the Farrelly brothers took a different approach with this one, so I'll give them credit for that. Actually, I know they did, I saw their interview on The Today Show the day before opening day, and they said they kinda put the vulgarity behind them for this movie. So I guess rent it when it comes out if you're skeptical. You'll get a few chuckles, and a few hearty laughs.
This show has everything you need. The laugh out loud funny father of the household Tracy Morgan (need I say more? His face says the rest). The funny and cute kids (yes, I said it) Marc John Jefferies and Bobb'e J. Thompson. The gorgeous wife Tamala Jones. And Tracy's hilarious co-workers Katt Williams, and John Witherspoon. I'd give this show a 9 out of 10. The only downfall being character development. But come on, just look at Tracy. His smile even cracks me up! Give it a watch, and let his comedic style grow on you like an ugly Christmas sweater.
