A brilliant film! Salute to the director's and writer's conviction and message. The typical mindset that is prevalent that if a woman goes to a party and drinks or jokes with a guy ...she will be willing for sex. The stigma that every male chauvinist has been harboring has to change. A woman has the freedom to laugh or drink, wear whatever she likes or attend parties. That doesn't give any man the right to presume that she is a slut or she is ready to sleep with anyone. And that change is only possible when every mother educates her son to respect women and learn to accept NO for an answer. I seriously wish more writers & directors come up with such brilliant messages that can be an eye opener to all communities who look down upon women for being bold. Amitabh Bachchan's stupendous performance and the opposing lawyer kept me to the edge of my seat. The 3 actresses were par excellent, However Kirti kulhari's acting impressed me!She is the next Shabana Azmi! Wonderful concept..gripping!Deserves accolades and definitely awards! A contagiously funny movie. Especially Sandy-Sundi split personality part. It does justice to a brilliant comedy flick. Totally entertaining. The deadly combo of Akshay Kumar, Reteish Deshmukh and Abhishek was the core of the film.

The best part was watching the audience reaction. I have stayed 30 years in Malaysia but i have never seen any movie get such cheer, claps and standing ovation from the audience. People were going ballistic laughing! I enjoyed myself. Not a movie for DVD....please watch it in the cinemas!

Total entertainer! Boman Irani shines in his role. The actresses provide glamour...not really performance orientated.

The movie Patiala House has been much anticipated. Akki shouldn't be disheartened about earlier movies. i still stand by the fact that Chandi chowk was a good movie that went wrong because it was badly edited. Since "waqt"it has been a long time since we saw akki in a serious role. I can't help talking about him because he is my favourite. Fresh pairing of Akshay and Anushka adds a freshness and appeal to the film. Again additions of new actors was a good idea because it encourages people to appreciate new talent. Also a treat for lovers of Rishi Kapoor- Dimple Kapadia fans. People should appreciate this film as a movie on its own and not compare it to other cricket movies. The movie is not concentrating on cricket but on a person's dreams and aspirations. If you love akshay just like me,then you should watch it!
