Some of these people are being way too critical over the quality of the script and social stereotypes. People should take it for what it is...it's a spoof. It's not like they have money to recruit big-name stars. It's a movie that should be enjoyed by the public...it's not an oscar contender. Are the gags mundane? yes. Are there asian stereotypes? Yes. The movie plays on these stereotypes and they know that's how the general public viewed them at the time. Someone commented on how Johnny's acting was bad...but excuse me...there was no royal academy of acting in korea. Like Margaret Cho said, "There was war." And also...where do people get the idea that the character Bruce is Korean? Don't people see the Chinese motif in the story? Chinese flour, Chinese noodles, Chinese food? Marco Polo? The actor is Korean, yes, but they said nothing of Bruce being Korean.
I saw this movie a long time ago, but I remember that this movie was kind of stupid. What really turned me off about it, was that the lead actress was not Korean, nor resembled any Asian race. I think in the movie, she had a Russian mother/father (I don't quite remember)and I think the producers thought that she could pass off as a Euroasian woman.
As an Asian, myself, I don't think it would be really hard to find an Asian actress of the same caliber of March (which is not quite high). She looked plain white next to the other Asian actors.

I happen to regard "The Wild Thornberry's" better than other Klasky/Csupo. I think it's an original concept and the story lines fun. I was highly entertained by each character in the show and I think Darwin is very funny. I think "The Wild Thornberry's" is better than most other K/C shows like "Rocket Power" and I don't know what the appeal with "SpongeBob" is all about. "Wild Thornberry's" is certainly better than what's on the Nickelodeon channel now, like "Chalkzone" "Fairly Odd Parents" and other rubbish shows like those.
