This was so much fun. Drone camera work is completely insane (in a good way). The action is lovely. Performances were tight. I hope hope hope they have a ton of sequels.

    Friday night well had!!

  • So entertaining

I really enjoyed this one. Great, quirky little gem. The songs were recognisable - think Moulin Rouge. Would totes watch again.

  • So far..pretty blooming decent

Honestly the first two episodes have been great. The structure actually incorporates the book's beginning pretty well.

  • Simply loved it

I adore how Ryan Murphy is creating uncompromising, perfectionistic fare. This is a wonderful, rollicking film. So much fun and love and kindness permeates. It's idealistic AF but I like THAT.

  • ???

Why do none of the characters make choices normal people would make. Like A LOT of it makes no logical sense. Felt sorry for the mum. Really didn't like the Dad. Didn't get the answers I wanted. Was left genuinely asking what was even the point. The final episode was slow AF. I liked the boy's lawyer. Just did not pay off for me

  • Um..WTF with the hate?

I enjoyed the series. Felt like it presented different types of alternative therapies in an interesting way. I don't think it felt cultish or heavy in any pushiness.

It's almost like a memo from a conservative church went out and asked members to all give one star and crappy reviews.

This series is good food for thought for those who are gloriously open.

  • It Kept Me

There are moments where I feel like production is on a budget or something but I keep coming back because the series is interesting enough to stay a contender. I think the casting is pretty good. Have a little crush on the guy who plays Fred. Don't know why. I am almost to the end of season 1 and will fingers crossed it pays off completely.

Beautiful dream homes, catty drama and barely recognisable celebs! What's not to love?

  • Delightful

Seriously wonderful show. The touching base with the parents, the quirkiness of Phil...people on here saying he's boring!! WTAF!? I just think they must have terrible taste in people. I mean Phil is loveable AF! So sweet and polite. He is absolutely endearing to watch. His Lisbon episode is a joy! I hope there is a third series. Really do!!

  • Enjoyable, marked with some sterling and poignant performances

I suspect that Russell Brand is a polarising personality in this world. Some find his idiosyncratic ways quite the put off. I, on the other hand, have always had a soft spot for old Rusty. I find him beguiling and very pleasant to watch.

I am not going to pontificate and deconstruct. This is a remake. I can't remember the Dudley Moore version but all I know is that this film was very charming. Fair enough, there are going to be no big surprises - no epiphanic moments. But what this has in bucket loads is a grand sense of heart.

Russell Brand is silly but underneath the silliness there is real, genuine stuff. You can see his heart break in a crescendo scene and if you let yourself you'll find you become very sympathetic to this lost boy. Jennifer Garner is scarily comfortable in the role of a-grade beyatch! Helen Mirren is just perfect as the man boy's nanny. Look, to be honest I am too lazy to get into nitty gritty stuff but this one is a winner if you are open enough to admit it.

    Trust me. It's lovely.
