Very fun movie. I havent watched previous movies, story is simple enough to understand immediately. Its about time-traveling. Bill and Ted time-travel to find song which will unite the world and save it from end of the world. It is plot-heavy story with lot of time-traveling. It doesnt go very deep into characters motives and explanations why something is way it is, it is very simple. Only kinda negative about this movie I have, is music. Music is in title of movie and while there is music in the movie, it isnt mind-blowingly amazing and exploding with energy, There is kind of too much rock music also.

  • warm and schizophrenic

This is short of genre mixing movie rather than full-on serious drama. Characters are well-thought out and realistic and actors portraying them fit their roles. Colors are bright. Story is easy to follow and doesnt go to deep yet there is overall warmth throughout it. Quite crazy movie with lot of illogical moments which obviously dont make sense yet they are perfectly understandable and relatable.

  • easy to watch and doesnt take itself too seriously

This isnt very complex thriller which tries to add some romance. It is easy to follow and non offensive comedy, Every part of it just works, sometimes barely yet works. Lot of positivity. Main actress is very likeable, same with James Corden- I like how he isnt trying to seem too intelligent even when he is supposed to be. Although reassuring and comforming, I think it will difficult for it to hold universal value, so I reccomend watching it soon.

This movie isnt what I was expecting. It is adaptation of Tao Lins book Taipei, yet it is very loose adaptation, and more like some semi-biographical story about Tao Lin and one of his relationships. Because of this, movie doesn't know what it wants to be and doesn't properly capture spirit of the book Taipei. Actors are also somewhat unconvincing in their roles, either from miscasting or from just awkward screenwriting. Directing isn't terrible, yet isn't very impressive either. There been movies showing footage from computer screen doing it successfully like Searching(2018) or documentary Don't F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer(2019) and this movie could have done the same yet missed its chance. Also this movie seems to be low budget. With that said, with weird pacing and style, there is certain charm to it, its original and not so boring.

  • more like a book than a movie

Incoherent and though to follow movie, which feels more like reading a book than watching a movie. There are lot of parts of movie, yet they arent fully ulitlised and dont tightly fit together.

  • amazing piece of animation

Honneamise no Tsubasa(1987) is impressive movie. Art in this movie is out of this world, amazing, imaginative and creative. Alternative world in which story is set, in same time avoids to be generic sci-fi world and generic overally sweet and cartoonish world. Sounds take you into story, aswell out of story when need to. Music always appears in right time and place, not too often to lose its effect. Characters are honest and realistic. I admit it can get somewhat boring, otherwise perfect movie.

  • Watch it!

Although I am not fan of romantic comedies and this is supposed to be one, this movie manged to break my stereotypes and surprise me with spontaneity of whole story.Characters are not one-dimensional so you don't know what they will do or say next(well most of time). Also actors portraying them are excellent in their roles so that makes you immerse in story and empathize with main characters.I would like Jennifer Lawrence character was given more attention, though, because it would be more interesting.Other actors were solid, not over the top,so they didn't draw attention from main story, and addition of Robert De Niro is major plus for any movie.I didn't notice directing at all,to be honest, witch is good thing i suppose. Anyway good movie to watch. It is not amazing, but it is really good.

  • surprising

I first read book The Hunger Games and as person who often reads different kinds of books I absolutely hated it.Because of that I didn't go to movie theater when movie first came out.But now I watched movie because high rating on IMDb and I was surprised. This movie was not usual Hollywood movie with predictable plot and stereotypical characters-but something else-something new and fresh.Different camera angles, moving camera, some new storytelling techniques really suits this kind of story well.Maybe I would chose different actors for some characters, but still they are all solid, and main actress is perfect as Katniss.Certainly there are few flaws like over repetition of not needed flashbacks or not so good portrayal of forest(movie is too much focused on characters and environment is much less shown(like for example big city Kapitol),but overall at the end of movie we want to see more and that makes this movie 7.
