In a Britain restored castle turned retirement home, four of the seniors like keeping their minds active. They enjoy learning about local cold case crimes and trying to solve them. However, while they study a new one, word arrives that the owners of the home might evict them all in favor of raping the structure for higher priced housing. The foursome will fight this idea. Then, a murder takes place under their noses. Knowing a female police officer, they try to join forces with her to help find a killer. There are plenty of possible suspects. Are the seniors' lives in danger? This film, the beginning of a series?, has 4 wonderful stars : Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley and Celia Imrie. Each of them delights in different ways. The story, sets, and supporting cast are fine as well. Most everyone will enjoy this wonderful flick.

Teen Travis mows his front lawn but is told not to enter the back. When Travis sees a "ghost" lady at night, he, friend Danny and girlfriend Abby try to see if the house is haunted. Now 3 teens lives are in danger. Will Vaughn kill again? This horror film has a fine performance by Quaid as a psycho. The story has its moments, too. Find it and shiver.

Meanwhile, serial killer Rodney Alcala, poses as a photographer when approaching women. In Wyoming, he strangles a young divorcee after she starts to trust him. Then, he's on to another venue. He ends up in Southern California. An agent advises Sarah to appear on the popular show The Dating Game. This will enlarge her profile. As misfortune would have it, Alcala auditions for the show and gets chosen. Now, he is Bachelor #3 on the day Sarah appears. He's charming. But, what will happen if Sarah chooses him? This is a true story of Rodney Alcala, an evil man who's fairly handsome and very conniving. In the midst of raping and murdering, Alcala appears on a game show! Looking back, the horror is palpable. If you are looking for a 90 minute thrill ride, try this one.
