This movie had so much of emotions . I did not have any high expectations when I went for this movie with my sister. Both of us had grown up watching the Xmen movies and felt this would be just another side Xmen movie involving young xkids.
But this turned out to be one hell of a dystopian movie. You feel that the earth is getting closer to end. Wolverine and Prof X portrayal are so much related to the early Xmen movies.
The story is so refreshing and different. I had tears for Logan at the end of the movie while never really felt like this for avengers .
You should for sure watch this. Truly deserves to be among IMDB top 250.

I am a big movie buff but was a little late in watching this. I was preparing for my JEE exams and I guess I missed out on most of the movies of 2003. Mafia movies in India post Satya was in the same flavour and was ruling the roosts , so a different movie like this didn't really create too much of waves in mainstream cinema at that time. I watched it a little late in around 2006 post people writing about Pankaj Kapur and watching Irfan in Hasil and I was in complete awe. All great actors together with such a beautiful cinematography. I have now seen it multiple times post 2006 but still everytime I rewatch, I rewind so many scenes and watch it again and again. Every small character has also been depicted beautifully. The agent who wants to work with Abbaji, few scenes but amazing impact
Not to be missed . One of the best mob movies of India , comparable to Satya.

Don't understand why it has been rated so lowly by some of them
This movie is simplicity and style. The kid actors are fantastic. Their innocence and faces are just so reminiscent of India which was trying to make a place in the world. Today's students may never have those emotions as they are born in a winning India. The parents were true reflections of a defeated tired India.
It's difficult to find such clean movies in Bollywood these days. Though some Malayalam movies still posses those qualities.
'Noodle sa dil' song is an absolute favourite.
Recommend this movie if you are a true cinema lover. It's a movie straight from the heart of Varun Grover.
