I have one thing to say, The marketing folks for this movie deserve pay raises and promotions! I thought this would be a great movie considering the cast and the concept. I love good con movies that actually con the audience in the process. "Wildthings" is a good example of this. But this movie.....Completely horrrrrible! The screenplay writer and director should be banned from Hollywood! I know that some movies take time to develop, but I am still waiting for this one. Even though I didn't guess the ending, I wasn't surprised or impressed. The plot was so elementary, I didn't care how it ended. I just wanted it to end! 0 stars out of 10.....and that's being generous.

I have never understood why this show never "made it" with the masses as X-Files did. Being a fan of both shows, I always thought Psi-Factor was the better of the two. I even loved the time slot of 11pm CST on Saturday night. My wife and I always looked forward to watching it. It originally started out as one 1-hour episode with two different case files, essentially, a 2-for-1 episode each week. There were a few minor tweaks in storyline and characters throughout its run of four(?) seasons. But overall, a very interesting and rewarding show to say the least. I was disappointed when the show was cancelled, and now I can hardly wait until the DVD Box sets are released.

I purchased this virtually unheard of dvd with the expectations of a low-rate "B"-Movie. I was pleasantly surprised with the story but a bit disappointed with the ending. There were many possibilities based on the writers ideas for great storylines, but I feel the movie left itself short. The characters did face many challenges that the first Mars explorers may expierience. This movie is definately not "Mission to Mars" or even "Red Planet". There are no pulse-racing special effects altough the landscape is very believable. The story is somewhat slow, so my advice is to not watch this movie late at night because you may not make it to the end without falling asleep.
