The animation is dated but there is plenty to like here for children.
Reminds me a bit of the Reboot series in its style. At it's worst there are some scenes that have the quality of a university animation program final film. But nothing that takes away from the story.
There are quite a few touching moments in the series that make it worth a watch.
Ollie is a sweet character and so are his sidekicks. He is easy to root for and is frequently put into positions where is he taken advantage of. And must overcome.
Episodes will leave you with an uplifting note and include Biblical references a plenty.
The music is also surprisingly catchy at times.

For over twenty years, the only bit of media DC has successfully trumped Marvel in was the animated series genre with such classics as Batman the Animated Series, Justice League and it's many spin offs.
Finally Marvel have produced a something that may have even surpassed DC's effort.
Kudos to the producers for choosing this version of the X-men who were arguably at their most popular during this period with the most balanced character combinations, that are the perfect chess pieces for compelling stories.
This series will make you feel so much. The stakes are high and no moment is wasted.
It's very possible Disney are going to spend a billion dollars in the next 10 years bringing a live action version of the X-men to the silver screen that will pale in comparison to what we are seeing here.
It's a can't miss for any fan of the X-men or comics in general.
