The movement was a lot more restricted than Dead Space. What I liked about the game was - simple, straightforward storyline and ending, unforgiving and scary enemies which were a lot of fun to take down silenty. The gun upgrade was simple, yet there were limitations as to how many weapons there are in the game. The upgrades are okayish not very satisfactory but still good. Josh Duhamel as the main character is a treat to watch, and play as well. The dodge mecahnism is pretty cool, however the game did feel repetitive. Only because the combat was engaging is why I would recommend this to anyone.
I just got a new curved monitor and this was the perfect game to start it with. The 2560x1440 resolution is perfect for the game. I have never played the original hence experiencing the storyline for the first time, and the fact that this is a remake blew my mind. The storyline is engaging and easy to follow through, the characters well studied. There was a lot of driving in the beginning which I don't enjoy so much but thereafter the gameplay, the movement, the world around it just felt amazing to dive into. The takedowns are kinda funny, but the shooting mechanisms are smooth, not a lot of variety in gun choices but still realistic and fun to blast through. I had a great time playing this game.
There is a reason why filmmaker's are consistently churning out films like Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 , Singham Again. They're not to blame because mediocrity will always attract and encourage mediocrity.
The mass wants to watch that kind of idiotic content rather than watching anything realistic or anything respectful towards the art of filmmaking. And these are exactly the kind of people review bombing.
It's a solid 6 episodes with that hits the nail in every aspect.
Extremely well choreographed action sequences , absolutely realistic.
A well designed plot that is coherent in its story telling.
Characters that you can invest in emotionally.
I recently watched an interview of Samantha where she says she was proud of her work in this and she totally should be. And for whatever twisted reason people don't like this it's not their fault.
