  • Insulting...

I have to say... as an Army wife I found this movie entertaining. I also found it highly insulting. The story is certainly interesting... a colonel goes haywire and uses officers' wives to satisfy his needs. But unfortunately, this flick simply has NO basis in reality. There's no way a colonel would get away with what's depicted in this film. What's more, it really insults the professionalism of military officers and makes them look bad. It's not based in truth AT ALL.

Watch this movie if you're interested in being entertained. But PLEASE don't assume that anything in this movie is based on truth. It's not. There's nothing at all about this movie that's truthful.

  • The funniest episode of Three's Company...

This episode of Three's Company is a classic. It beats all the Chrissy episodes hands down, even though Barry Williams from The Brady Bunch is a guest star!

I swear, the first time I saw this episode when it originally aired, I almost wet my pants laughing. Shame on TVLand and Nick at Nite for editing the funniest part of the episode. If you haven't seen this one, rent the DVD so you don't miss the best part. I recently watched this episode and got to see the entire dance scene at last. It was just as funny as it was the first time it aired on national TV! May John Ritter rest in peace. He was truly a gifted comedian.

  • Pretty much based on "The Best Little Girl In The World"

I remember this episode of "Fame" pretty well. The kids are all getting ready for their Hawaiian themed prom. Doris is in charge of setting up and is her typically bossy self.

Chris and Danny struggle to find prom dates.

Meanwhile, Holly responds to her parents' impending divorce by developing anorexia nervosa. If you've ever read Steven Levenkron's book "The Best Little Girl In The World", you'll probably recognize where "Fame's" writers got much of this episode's plot.

Look for a few decent musical numbers and some mild medical drama... and the nurse who reminds viewers that nurses still wore caps in the mid 1980s!
