Predictable, low hanging fruit jokes. Unlikable stereotype characters. The literal funniest thing about this show is that it lasted 6 seasons.
Spoiled rich girl whose father went to prison meets down on her luck baker looking to make a living off what she loves. The odd couple of baking? Wow, so original. The jokes are not only predictable but also so lame. The plots are thin as the concept.
Again, this show made it six seasons? That says a lot about the TV audience these days. No wonder Netflix and Amazon are doing so well. Maybe one has to be lame brained to appreciate the lame brained. That's what this show exemplifies.

I watched all six episodes hoping for something to happen and finally have the main character actually lead the movie. But sadly that didn't happen. What wasted time. I agree with others that this could have been a single two hour movie. But unlike others I don't need it fast paced but rather just some pace... any pace... if there weren't 10 seconds between each sentence of dialogue. So much stylistic editing and colorization and yet so little substance. At this rate it will take two hundred episodes to resolve anything in this show. I know this director is known for his style and artsiness but at some point you just got to make a show or movie. This made the whole thing boring af. I am sad that I or anyone else watched this and lost the same six hours of life that I did. I will not be watching any of the new episodes. No more Refn for me.
Seen a lot of people reviewing and comparing this movie to John Wick and saying that it isn't as good. But John Wick is soooo cliché and gratuitous with it's violence and isn't very good. I stopped half way through John Wick 2 because I couldn't take it anymore. In Kill Boksoon, I liked the main story and I also liked the mother-daughter story as an opposite to the main which brought some balance between action and emotion. The characters are well developed and have depth. The acting is very good. It's worth watching and doesn't feel as long as the 2hr 14min suggest. If you like John Wick and assassin movies but don't like this one then I'm smh.
