I have watched all of the old series. As it went on it definitely became darker and harder to see distinctly. Not talking about the subject matter but the lack of lighting in the filming. I didn't like that and the renewal is worse.

I don't like the smoking and the increased obscenity in the renewal. It doesn't add anything. These agents were clever and tough amidst horrific circumstances. Smoking and fbombs don't make them better. It made them look cheap to me.

The violence was so visually horrific in the renewal I don't think I will continue to watch. I literally felt sick to my stomach. It didn't bother me so much before so perhaps the darkness of the filming and the clearly depicted violence to folks made it worse. Maybe I don't like to see what people are willing and able to do to another human.

The old show was good and communicated terrible acts without as much visual effects. I think I will pass this time.

I thought this was a Hallmark movie.. which I count on for more chaste relationships. She is a widow and suffering as would be normal. She is dating a guy named Marc who she is sleeping with. Not a husband, a boyfriend, who are not committed to each other. It is not what Hallmark usually shows and I would not want children watching it as being okay and normal. Hallmark does not usually do that..

The plot had a lot of potential. The people were the typical good looking young folks. Their skills might have been better if the writing had been better. It was like it was missing some transitions between aspects of the plot. It didn't flow and it seemed a little stiff. I have seen much better acting than this show. Very hard to believe the people. Sorry to say it. Don't know if it was the acting or the writing. Good when you just want something to take your mind off of a boring day maybe?
