So let's start with the basics, this is a show about a woman who used to be an assassin, and then after retiring fell into a pile of circumstances which made her come out of retirement. Without putting to fine of a point on it, she's a terrible assassin, both when she was one and after she came out of retirement. She keeps making these dumb mistakes that even amateurs wouldn't make but she does. Like for example, throughout the entire series she cut off someone's finger and is using it to get into their phone, when really all she had to do was unlock the phone with it while it was still attached and then change the settings in the phone to no biometrics.
It's stupid tiny things like that, that litter the entire show with amateurish mistakes. It really makes it annoying to watch, but the most egregious thing about this show is her attitude. She's very literally the rudest person on the planet. It makes me really want someone to shoot her in the face if for no other reason then to just make the show tolerable.
2/10 not good writing, not good dialog, not a good story. Terrible acting, and worst of all no respect for any aspect of spycraft.

This is one of the most boring movies I've seen this year. I really like every actor in the cast, they're typically really great at what they do, but the script is just bland. Let's review shall we?
We have a matchmaker who's boiling down matchmaking to a numbers game. Values based on things like income, height, weight, hairline, personality, etc. So already you're off to a incredibly shallow start. Anyone could have told you, that if you're basing an entire profession that should be rooted in moral values, but is instead rooted in monetary value there will be nothing but problems.
And imagine that, there are nothing but problems, but not like hard interesting problems, really first world rich problems. And what happens is, you just stop caring because it's not relatable at all to 99% of the people who watch it.
3/10 great cast, boring script, even more boring plot, who writes like this in a romance drama? I mean at least make it witty, it was just dull.

For me this was John Wick the sloppy, badly cinematographed version. See the story is not really all too different, sure they threw in a few original tidbits to make it seem like it's suppose to be a different tragedy, but we all know it's the same thing dressed up.
Now here's the thing that made this awful for me. Ana De Armas is a good actress, but in this movie she might as well have been a ragdoll, I've never in my life seen someone get destroyed nearly every fight and then get up and walk away. John had some hard fights, but I don't remember anyone tossing him around for the entire movie every single fight and then him being perfectly fine enough to continue on. This is not believable by any standard even in this universe.
The other thing is they kept speeding up the fights, which is ridiculous, because they had good pacing, speeding them up makes them look wildly unrealistic. And then there was this kind of comedic thing that happened every once in while, like the lady who was fighting her and they started to throw plates at each other. Completely out of place in this movie.
5/10 good casting, awful cinematography, choreography, and story. This is a pretty clear example of what not to do when you have a giant budget and a successful franchise in front of you.
