Actually: This is the funniest movie I ever seen. We have been watching it every year since 1991 (sometimes 2 times) - and it just keep getting funnier - remembering the lines.
Even though the movie is completely different: For quotes this is the danish edition of Pulp Fiction - either you don't like it and really don't care - or you know every quote by the hand
It is after all a Christmas Calender.
3 pixies returns to an old cave in Denmark after having been living a lot of years in US. Their task is to find a key of life for one of the old pixies.
They meet 2 Danes there - a farmer growing potatoes and his wife - and later yet another one - an old "Nåsåer" (cannot be translated since it really don't mean anything - closest would be "an sothatstheway") who it really an old enemy of pixies - and who transform himself in strange ways, if he drinks liquor.
The story is thin - like most other calenders. But it's wonderful and very much on the edge.....
