Ro Laren!? Are you kidding me!? Amazing episode, and such a beautiful scene between Ro & Jean-Luc in the holodeck. So much of their story tied up neatly in such a short amount of dialogue. Give Terry Matalas an Emmy. Bravo!
Bringing in such a popular character, like Ro, with such a rich history in TNG has put forward such an opportunity to open the door to not just other multi-episode characters and plots but my mind explodes with ideas for episodic characters and plot lines that the fans and new trek watchers can watch to go back and revisit classic trek!
This episode in my opinion truly opened the door to the idea of an amazing legacy series which can have the freedom and creativity to expand on everything trek we've been wanting and begging for, for over thirty years now!
Well done everyone involved, especially Terry Matalas.

I was so hoping for this to be
something special and an interesting glimpse at a much loved public figure.
Instead we got an Americanised monstrosity of the most out of touch proportions!
The movie has zero flow, has absolutely no central plot and doesn't offer any character description let alone development, it completely relies on the audience already knowing the characters and an expectation that you know who is playing what public figure, there is no set up, no direction and it is almost completely unwatchable.
The ending holds no conclusion, nor does it close the story it's telling and will leave you completely drained without relief or climax.
Likely to be added to the scrap pile of terrible biopics that literally have zero charm or anything of substance to take away!
