"Kannur Squad" is an exceptional cinematic experience that deserves to be seen on the big screen. The screenplay by Rony David Raj is excellent, and director Roby Varghese Raj's debut is nothing short of brilliant and amazing. The film's taut filmmaking, engaging narration, and well-paced storytelling keep you hooked throughout.
One of the standout aspects of the movie is the outstanding character arc for each character. Every member of the cast gets their moments to shine, with special mentions to Kishore Azees Nedumangadu and Shabareesh Varma, who tackled new roles with true justice. The tech guy and the North Indian constable also deliver remarkable performances.
Mammootty's portrayal of ASI rank Police Officer George Martin is truly impressive. His versatility in portraying different shades of police officers is a testament to his acting prowess. The film's focus on teamwork, bravery, and integrity in the face of adversity is well-executed, with the importance of these values highlighted throughout.
The movie also pays attention to the smallest details, such as the Tata Sumo, which becomes a part of the crime investigation and eventually gets damaged. The emotional attachment the team shows to the vehicle is portrayed realistically, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.
In addition to the fantastic performances, the film boasts excellent direction from start to finish, accompanied by a very good background score. The entire team deserves applause for their exceptional execution of this cinematic gem.
This is a must-watch film that combines realistic and cinematic entertainment flawlessly. With its engaging storytelling, memorable characters, and strong message about teamwork, it's a cinematic experience that should not be missed. Mammootty's fans will undoubtedly appreciate his role in this film, and it's a testament to his enduring appeal in the industry.

I don't understand why the writer is still making movies when people don't seem to want these kinds of stories. Dileep should take his time to find a better script and not risk his career. The good thing about this movie is the way it's made by Arun Gopy. The settings are good, but Dileep's costume and Lena's acting were just okay. Kalabavan Shajon was funny, even though he was supposed to be serious, and his name is funny too. The villains acted like jokes, inviting the hero to kill them when he already defeated many others. I tried to enjoy it as a fun action movie, but it didn't work for me emotionally. It felt like Dileep was reprising his role from "King of Kotha." If you liked that movie, you might like this one too. People who give it 10 stars should realize they're encouraging more flop movies in the Malayalam industry. Thankfully, Dileep didn't include any double-meaning jokes like in his other movies, which is a positive. I'd give 2 stars to the director and music director.
