The movie feels very heavy in its substance. What makes the seemingly cliché scenario of narcotics officer chasing a series of events is the way it had been issued by the director. The scenes, whether they be eventful or dull, are continuously intense for the entire last hour of the movie. With it's smart use of camera, brilliant acting and wondrously tense music, this movie is a tribute to all cinema. The slow pace gives shape to the intensity of certain scenes, which in return makes this movie one of the most actionless and simultaneously actionfull action movies out there. Certainly goes to my top 10, it's a must watch.

When you watch an Edgar Wright film, you know you are watching an Edgar Wright film. He is unique and unpredictable with his style. One of the best comedy directors around these days.
One critique, the movies start of amazingly, however the tempo falls after sometime, even though it is restored towards the end once again.
