This quickly became one of my all time favorite movies.
It's a quiet movie. An intimate movie. A movie that truly feels like you're there in the scenes with them no matter what's going on. A movie that knows exactly what a close up is and the best way to use it to add something to the scene - and knows when to use a wide shot too. A movie that knows that silence is just as loud and effective as sound. Rebecca Daly is one of my favorite directors of all time now. I've never seen anyone present intimacy and feelings and emotions the way she did with this movie.
Astonishing is what it is. I loved every minute and will certainly be watching again for my own enjoyment and to study the ins and outs of this intense work of art.

This movie reminded me why I love movies so much. Why I appreciate so much the thought and effort and passion put into making them and how much I love to put that same passion in my own. These filmmakers could have put a paper bag in front of the screen and I would have been like wow, this right here is art.
Jake and Jack is like no film I've ever seen. It's ambitiously sinple and yet so layered and intricate. I enjoyed every single second from start to finish. I laughed, I got emotional, I got excited, i was on the edge of my seat and I smiled so very much.
One of my favorite movies of all time for so many reasons. Very revolutionary to me as a Detroit native filmmaker. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in creating this.

I'm not one for stories like these usually but this one grabbed me from the start! I love the plot, the cinematography, the music even the theme! Magnificent show!
