Not sure who this was made for, as it's fit for the mentality of a child, but the profanity presumably means it was made for adults.
Terrible acting by 90% of the cast, the writing is appalling, the story is nothing new or particularly interesting and the characters are straight out of a bad soap.
The only good news is that in the future FTL craft can be operated by total morons, so hopefully we'll lose a whole raft of these crap TV programme makers to the far side of the universe.

Not sure how this ever made it to three seasons.
It's premise might have made for a decent show, but the episode scenarios are so dumb that it's hard to watch. It's simply mind numbing and so totally stupid it becomes annoying very rapidly.
I would suggest giving it a miss and just watch Hitchcock's The Birds or similar.
There are no redeeming aspects I can think of, other than it thankfully never making it to a fourth season.

Quality engaging sci-fi series which is unfolding nicely, with multi-layered story lines, special effects and decent acting, especially from Jared Harris.
I had been looking forward to watching this series since it's announcement. I loved the Asimov books and story, and was hoping to see his brilliant vision brought to the screen.
So I'm torn, as this series has little to do with the Asimov books and is let down in that respect.
Why it needed to be re-written is a mystery, as the story is no better and lacks the atmosphere of the original Asimov works.
The writers have tried to be different with how they've interpreted various aspects of the books and characters, but it hasn't added anything of value and has effectively dumbed the story down.
Probably worse is this means it's unlikely in my lifetime, the actual story will now ever be put to screen.
If you haven't read the books and have no expectations, then the lack of Asimov's story won't bother you, it's well worth a watch and should merit running for a few seasons.
