  • Proof we live in a police state, with a smile:)

If there was ever a clearer window in which to look through at the world we live in today, than 'Live PD' is one of the more compelling shows to watch that reveal the true horror that our society now seems to accept as normal. Its sad to see how militarized the police have become right across the country since 9/11. At times I see the police as bully's with smiles talking politely to their clients in today's slang, bro, but yell and jump on you if you do not comply to their wishes. One thing, among many, that I notice is that every vehicle pulled over get's inspected with the occupant's hand cuffed most times, live. It seems no one pulled over is told by the officer, 'You have a tail light out so here is a warning to get it fixed, now be on your way and get it fixed, and have a nice day'. Everyone is now guilty until they can prove their not despite what they say. We've become a very brutal society while saying how we should love each other. On the other hand people are still doing things they shouldn't and the police definitely show they have a nose for it by how many are guilty of something that they investigate. I give it a 10 because you're seeing the truth and actions are always the proof of the truth. Driving a vehicle, riding a bike, walking down the street or just hanging out with a friend or two can so easily be disrupted now a days if one doesn't learn from what this show is teaching them. This kind of show teaches people to live in fear, and not from any terrorist. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?

  • No middle ground here, you either like it or what a waste

No middle ground here, you either like it or what a waste of time. Most actors and actresses we see in what would be considered professionally made films these days, are actually quite good at their jobs I find, so 3 other possibilities that make or brake a film could be how well the script was ritten, edited, and how well the director knows how to be a good director rather than thinking they know how to be a great director. What can also make for a good director is how many producers the director can talk into investing in the film, as this films writer/director Ti West, was able to get 8 people, lucky, I think they may be farmers who like watching their crops grow that he was able to get to partake in his great idea for a horror film. A film I feel will appeal more to a couch potato, as sitting around doing nothing other than watching what others do, rather than to someone who likes running around the block looking at what's on their wrist every so often, because this film The Innkeepers, is like watching snails having sex without ever doing it, and to say it was even remotely compared to The Shining, well that would be a flat out misunderstanding of the word montion. Extremely slow and laborious reach new levels of glorious non excitement in this film. The idealistic less than high school script writing and direction, stand out as being just that, while I did feel the actors were quite competent and did as good as they could with what they had and were told how to work with it. But watching the main character not knowing what she's really doing for someone who's supposed to be enthusiastic about finding a ghost, but instead is throughout the film afraid of her own shadow, was to the point of being embarrassing and difficult to watch. Pointing as deeply as one could to where the food went that they just ate would be just as enjoyable as this film. There are a couple of JUMP moments, but a 10 second roller coaster ride really is a waste of time to get on, as well as a story that doesn't come together well at all, well what story?

So in closing, if your looking for a new meaning to boring, thennnnnn thissssssss filmmmmmmm issssssss forrrrrrrr youuuuuuuuuuuuuu...... ahhhhhhhhhh if less than minimal becomes fashionable, then this film will have its day.
