This show is still just as entertaining all these years later! I have recently began re-watching the series and I forgot how good it really is. The writing, especially in the first 5 seasons, is perfect. Whether you are into the overarching alien/UFO storyline or the self-contained creature features, the show is truly great!

Duchovny and Anderson as FBI Agents Mulder and Scully give great performances and have tremendous chemistry. If you have never seen the show I urge you to watch the pilot and give it a shot, you won't regret it! If you have seen it then you know how good it is and it gets even better when you rewatch it!

I sat down to watch this after hearing about how "amazing" this "horror" movie was. After watching it I realized my expectations were much, much too high. A quarter of the way in I decided to watch it through the lens of an 80s B horror/comedy. This made it much more easy to digest and I about died laughing at the twist ending.

If you keep your expectations low you should be entertained at the very best and possibly disappointed in Wan's latest horror movie. If this was directed by anyone else I wouldn't have had such high expectations. To be clear, this is not a movie in the same category as Insidious or Saw but if there's absolutely nothing else to watch give it a go. If I haven't been clear about this, keep your expectations somewhere around shin high and you'll be fine.
