Very low IQ crew go on a suicide mission and meet a very low IQ family on the way. I went to see this last establishment of Jurrasic Park universe just because I read some good reviews.
Unfortunately, despite CGI dinos were outstanding, and it's always nice to see Johansson who defies years with her beauty, and Marshwala who always shine with his acting skills were not enough to save this movie.
Every single character and their choices scream "This is a soft slash horror film for audiences under 18 above 13..." I guess this movie is as bad as a franchise gets.
But is it gonna fail in box office? Of course no... this type of easy, low IQ summer blockbusters are what movie theatre goers crave for these days...

I enjoyed most of its 2h running time although the scenes I felt the opposite are bad writing, cheesy drama, romance scenes that average Joe and Karen crave for to see on big screen.
Race scenes are 10/10... It can't get any better than that considering the director Krasinski's game is proved by Top Gun: Maverick's action scenes. Music and editing share the close second seats of this flick's best parts. We are looking at a way better production than previous car race films after all. Maybe not Rush. Rush is still the Best F1 movie of all times...
Are there flaws? Yes, obviously... Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem seem like enjoying their fat paychecks and nothing more. They barely deliver standard performances. One could expect more character arc from big guns like Pitt and Bardem. I blame the writers.
Final thought: Go enjoy and forget about it just like eating a Big Mac.

I was not a big fan of 28 Days, Weeks later saga but they were, especially the first movie with only 7M usd budget was a horror classic of 00's. Danny Boyle's directing, and his movie's editing style are unique. Nice to see Boyle is still at top of his game.
28Y Later jump starts with an intense father and son survival act and the first part is so good, you can't even close your eyes for a second. Aaron Taylor and the little fella have great chemistry. Action scenes are top notch thrilling. However, after the intense first act, movie slows down a little bit. Story struggles from characters motives but as an audience it is good to know that we are not there to watch character drama. We just want more weird stuff and gory zombie scenes.
Well, final act just delivers that with the great help of Amazing Ralph Fiennes acting. This guy is versatile. Oh god, his Doctor character is between madness and terror, you just feel for him in a strange way. Up until the end you're at edge of your seat and enjoy this horror masterpiece despite its slow second act defaults.
