The Story of hope and redemption of humanity is portrayed well in this film. The cast does a good job conveying the story and sticking to the way things happened in Abby's life. This movie depicts several raw scenes of the truths of abortion. They will leave the viewer with a chance to take a look behind the scenes of the country's largest purveyor of abortions.

So I went into The Unborn thinking it was going to be horrible since that is all that I've been hearing about it online and from screenings of the film. I think this is the best approach for going to see The Unborn. Expecting little from this film let me pick out the positives and I must say it was not as bad as I had assumed. There are definitely some scenes that made me jump and people in the theater scream. The plot was decent, not phenomenal but at the same time not awful. I enjoyed the acting which was able to stray away from the all too common cheesy horror movie acting. Overall if you're in need of a jumpy horror movie but can't stomach the more grotesque slash and gash films, I suggest The Unborn as a one time view.

That's pretty much what this film came down to. The story really intrigued me as I was reading the back of the case at my local blockbuster, so i decided to take the film home and give it a watch. My girlfriend and I both agreed that the plot seemed promising and had a chance to be a good one, but the movie was held back by the low budget of an independent film. Watching the behind the scenes was also impressive, in my opinion. The movie used digital effects and i felt that the kill scenes were actually put together quite nicely. I can't say the same for the level of suspense or anything of that matter. Overall, I definitely hope to see more from Jeff Burton in the future. I think he would make a great director given a larger budget and better acting. He's on his way and hopefully we'll see more of his movies in times to come.
