  • Loved this show

I absolutely loved watching this show back in the 90's use to watch it everyday after school. The show had it good years between 1992-1997 then it seem like it started going downhill or maybe I just had outgrown this show by that time but Ricki was a great host with a positive attitude. I see alot of hate on here about this show being trash, I disagree but most talk shows during the 90's had alot of drama and craziness but that's what made the shows fun to watch. I only remember seeing one fight happen on this show, so it wasn't ghetto and trash like Jerry Springer. I truly miss this show and alot of other talk shows we had in the 90s. Jenny Jones was another favorite for me.

  • Weakest of the series

I really wanted this movie to succeed but without the original stepfather, the one we seen in part 1 and 2 I knew that would be a hard pill to swallow. The guy that played the stepfather in this movie wasn't as good as the original stepfather and the whole plastic surgery thing was stupid but even after all that I still decided to keep watching but all I got was boredom throughout this whole movie. It definitely felt like a made for TV movie, the kills were boring, the actors were boring and the whole movie felt like something made by a 5 year old. I honestly stopped watching after one hour so I can't even tell you how the movie ended but I can tell you part 1 and 2 were miles better than this mess. I've found myself over the years watching part 1 and 2 numerous times but I can guarantee you part 3 will be a one time watch for me.

  • All time Greatest Hood movie

I remember my grandmother took me and my cousins to go see this movie back in 1991 at the movie theaters. It was so strange because my grandmother was totally against these type of movies but being a fully grown man now I understand why she took us to go see this movie. This movie had a strong message about what goes on in the hood, the things black men face from polices in the hood and the dangers of being a gangsta(like Doughboy) and it also shows the results of not being a gangsta and living a straight life (like Trey) We basically have a choice to live a straight life or a gangsta life and we see the results and consequences of living both in this movie. This movie also shows how important a father is in a child's life not having a father around can greatly affect a child's life. As we see with Doughboy and Trey. John Singleton did his thing making this movie. Without a doubt one of the greatest hood movies ever with a strong message. I decided to live a straight life like Trey but two of my cousins(the same two that went to see this movie with my grandmother and I back in 1991) decided to choose the doughboy life, now one is serving 25 years in prison and the other one was killed in 2002.
