....and that would be the comedy. I think Romesh Ranganathan is a funny comedian, but this is just boring. I made it to episode 2, but when the funny bit is people burping because they've eaten too much chilli, you know the writing is bad.
It's a whimsical sitcom, but without the com bit.
I've given up on it after episode 2.

Just watched Flight plan, 17 years after its release!
Some great ideas, but I think the writers just ran out of ideas. It never reached the levels of tension it should have. It should have been a Die Hard in the air, with the added high tension of a mum desperately seeking her missing daughter. But it just seems to fall short.
Jodie Foster is great as ever, but supporting cast is weak.
Popcorn movie only. Not a bad effort, but I certainly won't watch a second time.

Saturday evening TV has never been the best in the UK, but I do hark back to the days we had the Generation Game, Gladiators, Blind Date.......
Started watching this, and OMG, this has to be poorest idea for a gameshow ever.
Jason Manford is a great comedian and he desperately tries to hold together a competition that would be expected in low quality holiday park.....
People hiding in card board boxes and weighing onions.... this is not light entertainment.
Please BBC, put some more effort in.

Wonderful, just wonderful. The best British sitcom for many a year. The best (in my opinion) since Gavin and Stacey. I have the same feelings as when I finished G&S, that I will actually miss the characters.
I am very sad it has come to an end, but a very moving ending.
A fantastic show. I wish more sitcom writers would realise that it is not farce that makes something funny, but true characterisation.

I wasn't expecting Star Wars, but I also wasn't prepared for two hours of utter, boring tripe. I could barely hear some of the mutterings of the actors and for a sci-fi film, the visuals are very, very disappointing.
I get the point of movie, i.e. humanity etc, but it is just so boring....... and if it was meant to be an unexpected twist at the end, it was like seeing an oil tanker coming into port.
The film could have been so much more. One of the most disappointing films I have ever seen.
Close encounters it isn't. I have no idea why t has 8 out of 10. Maybe I was in the wrong movie?

30 desperate girls (some slightly deranged), 1 desperate man. What a formula!! Blind Date it is not. Paddy McGuiness, what are you doing?? Paddy's gags barely hold together a show that should never have made prime time TV. Maybe I'm just too old to get it, but please give it a wide berth and do something more interesting. Go to the pub and meet real people!! Bring back Cilla!!!! AT least Blind Date tried to have a serious element by interviewing last week's 'winners'. Take me out does none of this and just moves on to yet another desperate guy trying to impress 30 desperate girls. It is 1 out of 10 because it is just so cheaply made and a terrible formula. Just bad.
