disappointing boring and only something an idiotic mountain dew drinking teenager would watch seriously even i could make a better adaption of this story why not watch the old "tintin prisoners of the sun" movie from 1969 it is far superior to this piece of garbage only idiots would say this is a "good" adaption what a disgrace to the comics no one these days cares about old movies that are good then there's always a bunch of hype when some garbagy version of a good story like this piece of trash comes out even the 50s belvision show i like better even the lake of sharks which had awful editing was better than this i hated the scene where captain haddock belches into the airplane and also captain haddock shouldn't be Scottish maybe Irish English or french but Scottish? come on also i think Andy serkis was a terrible choice for captain haddock anyway the movie was dull and everything sucked the "movie score" (i use that word loosely) wasn't even memorable also i hate peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg as well for making this terrible adaption i have spoken

the story is great and the animation is good but if i was to edit it i'd do the following things #1 get better child actors for nika and nouchka (at least as far as the English actors go) #2 i'd write some new music for certain parts and #3 i'd get some better sound effects. other than that the movie is great i would give it a 10 out of ten but the editing in some parts is horrendous here are some of the upsides #1 tintin is a good actor and pretty much everyone else except the kids although some of the voices aren't very well recorded #2 it has a great score (although the villain theme is hokey)and #3 it has good animation and an excellent story my conclusion is it's good but could be better 8 out of 10

this in my opinion is better than the cheesy low budget TV adaption in fact it's way better it has a great music score by Francois rauber in fact in my opinion it's one of the greatest film scores of all time good animation no stock sound effects (except the police siren)and great voice acting (zorrino's voice is a little girlie but who cares)and overall a great movie it is a little rushed but it's way better than the cheesy TV adaption and if you don't agree then you're dumb how could you choose the lame anti climactic ending of the "better" adaption over a great movie like this? anyway it's a great movie infinity stars out of infinity
