Having worked in the entertainment industry on the sales & distribution side at a Movie Rental place I developed a keen eye for great works of theatre and grew an appreciation for all film.
It’s not unusual to find me nestled on the sofa cookies & milk by my side and the remote in my hand scrolling through each streaming service or TV guide. Many people think watching a movie or TV is a passive activity however there’s nothing passive about scrolling through all the entertainment categories from Drama, Thriller, Comedy, to Romance, & Documentary searching for the perfect thing to watch. With all the effort it takes to feed my viewing appetite it’s a good thing my butt is securely parked on the couch. When I finally do find something to watch I will sing “The Happy Song & send a group text to friends that are at work. I don’t usually get a response but I know they are happy for me.

  • You'll either like it or hate it

This movie is packed with body image messaging. It's a creative way of expressing the struggle women find themselves going through in Hollywood as they age out of roles and relevancy.

It's got the "yes people" and even the "dim witted" show producer all gawking over the next big thing. That next big thing means there's a new old thing and Demi plays that character extremely well. Having not seen Moore in many films over the years she picked a role that was both physically and mentally demanding. From an acting standpoint Demi is deserving of her golden globe.

However the movie starts out great but finishes way too strong. I'd say about the final 30'-45' is almost entirely unnecessary. They do label the movie as a horror which I was unaware of when I watched it and that's just what this movie is......a horror flick.

  • Don't let my 5 star review discourage you from watching

Just because I gave it a 5 star review doesn't mean the movie isn't watchable or worth watching. It left me entertained and I watched the movie from start to finish. Overall it just wasn't a good movie but that doesn't make it a bad movie.

Jack Black is Jack Black and he helps make the movie funny and enjoyable. The story is solid and the children interacting with Jack Black do a great job keeping up with his comedic timing and energy.

You'll only watch this movie once a year or maybe only once in your lifetime. With all the Christmas or Holiday movies out there it's refreshing to find some new ones that can fill a much needed space.

I say enjoy it for what it's worth!

  • DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

TMZ looking to make some money off of their previously run headlines. Sure, there are some interviews with individuals that were close to Diddy but nothing new is being said. This was clearly made in a rush and is filled with junk news from TMZ's prior reportings. You won't learn anything new and all the stories are ones you've already heard about. TMZ lightly goes over Diddys past criminal issues and lawsuits.....this is a simple fluff piece and insults the viewer's intelligence.

I'm not even sure why some of the interviewees agreed to participate in this??? And I'll never forgive myself for sitting through 3/4 of it. All you need to do is Google "TMZ DIDDY" and there you will have everything this is about. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
