Middle-class would have been good title for this movie. Those who planned(planning) to buy a new house would definitely connect to this movie. All artists really well. Their acting was natural. Everyone had their role and neatly done(Sarath, devayani, Siddharth, meetha, chaitra) . Was there no negative? Yes there were few(few lag scenes, some repeated dialogues, Sarath putting his pressure on his son, Siddharth as school boy character, sometime some acting looked but artificial, few comic scenes would have been stress buster, thanks to few yogibabu scenes) but those can be ignored given the content and struggle of middle-class to purchase a home is clearly portrayed. Message was also clear, Some decisions will not go our way, unexpected situations might arise, some decisions should be taken at right time, failure is not end of world. Cinematography and music was good. No vulgar or unwanted scenes. Can be watched with family.
Exciting plot has been wasted by dragging screenplay. 3+ hours for this movie is not required. Started off on a promising note. But 2nd half dragged like anything. Many useless scenes, few ideas were good but execution failed. Useless song on already dragging screenplay. Only good thing was Danush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika, sayaji Shinde, villian acting. Cinematography was good(well differentiated the rich n poor) music was good. Dragging screenplay wasted everyone's potential. More work on screenplay writing could've been done. No vulgar dialogues, few disturbing scenes. Other than that everyone can watch this if they have sooo much time to spend!! Average screenplay with good acting.
Simple middle-class Life of Kannan, Kamalam, Deepika, Dinesh, Brownie. Well written, screenplay and directed, in the era of wasting highly talented artist in useless roles, appreciate the director's clarity on each character and ensured most of the characters are close to reality (Settu family, chameleon prema and support guys, boomer uncle, alliance guy n family, archana) everyone did not act, they lived their characters. Cinematography and music is great, Sathyaraj voice over and narration is cherry on top, editing could've been better as confused on the timeline and bit lag in few scenes. It's a clean movie which can be watched with family. Happy to see tamil cinema is going in right direction and more family in theatre(was wondering why only malayalam industry has good realistic movie, this is another movie to close to reality) wasn't there any flaws? Yes there are few(like lags in few places as mentioned above, few mysterious characters like archana without any background) but as a true cinema lover can ignore those negatives, really enjoyed this movie and would recommend everyone to watch it in theatre with family and friends.
