'Superman' directed by James Gunn is a perfect start to DC and also a much needed change to the character. I had one of the best experiences at the theatre watching this. It maybe because this was my most anticipated film of 2025 and that it delivered perfectly.
I loved the characters, the cast, I loved the dialogues, the visuals, the cool action scenes, the score, the chemistry between Superman and Lois played by David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan, Lex Luther played by Nicholas Hoult, the direction of James Gunn, overall I loved the film throughout. It was so much fun.
More than anything, I loved the way James Gunn presented Superman, he is an symbol of hope. He saves anything from humans to animals maybe even insects and that is why he is Superman.
The line in the film which Superman says "I wake up everyday not knowing what to do and still put my front foot forward and try to make the best choices and I screw up everyday and that's what's makes us human" made this version of Superman feel very human and somehow personal. In this film Superman is an human who happens to be an alien. This is what Superman is supposed to be. I had a great experience at the movies. Loved it.

- Jurassic World Rebirth directed by Gareth Edwards is the newest edition to the Jurassic Park franchise and it proves why this franchise needs to stop. It is the same old stuff without any changes, highly predictable and the performances were dull aswell except Mahershala Ali and few others. Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey looked the part but their performance was dull especially Scarlett's. The main attraction, the dinosaurs were a lot in this movie and that's good but the mutated dinosaurs just doesn't look that great in my opinion and some of them were heavily underutilized. The visuals however was amazing, that was the best part of the film, even the VFX looked great. Despite the highly predictable and dumb screenplay, there were some scenes that were enjoyable like the boat scene in the first half and some portions of the second half. The second half was definitely better than the first half but still overall it is just an average watch but it is better than Dominion but that's it and that's not a good thing.
- F1 directed by Joseph Kosinski starring Brad Pitt is a grand formula 1 racing movie with fair share of thrills and entertainment. The plot of the movie is nothing special, it is generic and predictable but the way the movie is shot makes all the difference. It is grand and a film that should be seen in the theatres for best viewing. The visuals, the racing scenes, the unmatched aura of Brad Pitt, the score by Hans Zimmer and the direction by Joseph Kosinski all made this a good experience at the theatre. The film does have it's flaws, there were few things I wish was better like focusing more on the bonding between the two drivers instead of the romance subplot but it didn't ruin the momentum of the film and some parts of the film just failed to engage especially few scenes before the climax. It's not perfect but for the experience and that climax alone, it is worth it. The film is technically top notch and has great performances from the cast especially Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris and I also liked the Apxgp crew especially Callie Cooke as Jodie. The racing scenes in the movie is extraordinary, the best I have seen, it really felt like we were in that car, the climax scene especially was breathtaking, they did a brillaint job in making the racing scenes thrilling and engaging. Really this movie had one job that was to get that racing scenes right and they did that perfectly, that was truly an experience. Overall, I enjoyed the film and it's racing , it really ended on a high aswell. Good theatrical watch.
