What could have been an interesting drama because the premise was good, was turned into a boring affair by bad direction, bad editing, over the top background music. Despite having well known name, acting is mediocre. I didn't feel any interest in any character's story and background. No chemistry between leads and I am not talking about romantic chemistry. It seems everyone is operating in their own universe. There are dragged scenes without reasons. The action sequences and use of VFX is also mediocre. It seems the drama was created to impress someone but failed.
This is my review after 2 episodes but I don't think I will be able to continue watching it.

An apparently good story let down by other factors.
Korean romcom are known for cliche and slapstick but this crosses every limit. The so called comedy scenes are so pathetically orchestrated, with the bg music from 90s or 2000s. Someone said great chemistry. Not at all. Both actor in their own zone, no connection. Chemistry is not only having a long kiss scene. As if it doesnt matter whoever can be put in others place. It seems like Director hasn't bothered to take second shot of a scene goes wrong. I have never seen a more caricatured male lead character in my life. And Yoona is not an Actor material, she has proved this again. The drama is cringe max. I have dropped.
The Law Cafe is essentially a romantic comedy but the mixing of law makes it pretty interesting. Its not a typical court room drama but its tries to find out of court lawful solutions to people's problems. Some socially relevant topics such as factory worker rights to safety, noise issues in apartment complexes, child abuse by own family, sexual harrasment and importance of consent, bullying in schools were raised in forst six eps in a very interesting manner. The issues are connected with main actor's story. The Actor are all so good specially leads Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young, they do justice to their character. Its really fun to watch the dynamic of a ex-prosecutor and attorney. Loving it.
