Ugh, capitalizing on Montana's name but filming in Canada yet again. Plus glibal warming/climate change jargon in the first 10 minutes...booo. As someone who lives less than a couple of hours away from GNP and 2' of snow in my yard, sick of this cr*p. I watch a lot of Hallmark, their films have gone downhill in the last 10 years. I've only added a handful to my faves on the app. As for the romance in this one, ok. The actress is so smiley it's distracting. If they wanted to be accurate why not ask Flathead Avalanche too use their name and logos? Funny they use the name Fernie all the time which is a real place in BC, why not just call it that. Their avalanche info is too vague, not useful. Skiing in Glacier with lifts? False advertising. Not a keeper.
Ok it's a B grade, with some now more famous stars. Acting is sub par, but I've always liked these types of movies. But whoever was in charge of the audio should never work in movies again. Background music, birds, etc drown out almost all of the dialogue. All the banging and slamming was ridiculous. The sax playing was so loud, almost shut it off then Was nice to see some of the 70s stars and a young Krause. Hamill was his usual horrible self. The cars, wardrobe are worth the watch of this TV movie. But it's too much like Many other movies to be one of my favorites. One watch and done for me.
