You can say whatever you want about Sylvester Stallone, but he is very cool in this movie: dark shades, stubble, toothpick in the mouth, black t-shirt, jeans, Colt pistol with a cobra head, a not so well-known, futuristic-looking Finnish Jatimatic sub-machine gun with a laser sight and a black, custom-made Ford muscle car. And early in the movie there is the one-liner that has its place amongst the coolest one-liners in movie history: "You're a disease, and I'm the cure."
For some people this movie might be a guilty pleasure. It is a typical 1980's movie, but it is still an enjoyable action flick and it is a bit underrated on IMDb.

Although they also made some better movies, some of them may even be classified as classic or cult, still, Menahem Golan, Yoram Globus and their Cannon company were mostly known for making lower budgeted B movies. Michael Dudikoff is also mainly known as a B movie star, so in theory everything was given for another low-quality B movie. But in the end, they made a good movie about the Vietnam War and this is Michael Dudikoff's best movie. I do not want to spoil it, but there is a scene in the movie that involves a lot of grenades, that scene is pretty cool. I do not know why the average rating of this movie is that low on IMDb, this is a much better movie than the average IMDb rating suggests, it is well worth to watch.
The USS Indianapolis was a heavy cruiser of the United States Navy. She delivered the first atomic bomb to the island of Tinian in 1945 during World War II and on her way back she was torpedoed and sunk by a Japanese submarine. Several hundred of her crew survived the sinking, but rescue was days late and when it finally arrived, hundreds of the survivors were eaten by sharks in the shark-infested waters. This movie is a maybe lesser-known film adaptation of this tragedy. It is a low budget TV movie, but it is not bad at all. I think Stacy Keach was a pretty good choice for the role of the captain of the ship. I like this movie adaptation of the story much more than the recent 2016 one with Nicholas Cage in the leading role.
