It's a documentary about the devastating tornado that destroyed a town in the US in the last decade. There are some footage of CCTVs and from some locals' mobile phones. They also give their testimony about the day that looked like the end of the world, a day people had not much time to protect themselves in shelters or other safety places.
I don't know anything about tornados apart from watching Hollywood movie, Twister, so this documentary is interesting for me to give some information about such natural disaster that does not happen in my country, thanks God.
However what gave me creeps is to see the poor young guy who got his body infected by a flesh-eater fungus that can only be treated by removing the affected body tissue. Then you can imagine what's the consequence on one's body. I'm so glad he was able to recover and build his life as an adult with a beautiful family.

It is a top notch series with a compelling storyline and great acting. High quality show in all episodes.
The story is consistently evolving and the director, the editor , they keep the quality throat out the entire show. You feel absorbed by the atmosphere created in Defending Jacob, the setting, the colour palette , the charisma of the characters. While every actor is great and deserve my respect , actors both in main and supporting roles, I was so impressed my Michelle Dockery playing the all-American mother. Chris Evan also great and the young actor playing Jacob had a difficult role and delivered very convincingly and consistently.
It is a story that will stay in my head for some days. I recommend it to everyone.

The worst instalment of the Equaliser trilogy. It is a worse in the script and execution. And lots and lots of sadistic violence. Not the usual violence we see in action movies but the one that takes cruelty to the highest level.
The " Italian" element seemed to me a big cliche. It looked like I was watching again The Talent Mr Ripley ; or Ripley also in Netflix. It was a collage of scenes of narrow cobblestone streets up hill, Italian celebrating "azzurra " victory , a religious procession in the street.... Also some continuity / editing flaws like a storm coming which never arrived immediately followed by the procession with the entire population in the streets. Or the bad guy jumping from his bed with a messy hair, followed by him chasing the good guy as if he had previously stopped at the hairdresser.
And what is the point of Dakota Fanning's character in the story? She did nothing constructive for the plot. Oh , actually she delivered the money to the old man in the end (a scene poorly written by the way as maybe the entire film).
Skip this last part and enjoy the first 2 Equalizers.
