Surprised that the user score for this show aren't higher because this show was an absolute pleasant surprise. The characters are what make this show amazing, each and every one of the main cast of characters has a really dark and sad past, and makes the viewers sympathetic towards them, can't tell you the amount of times I nearly teared up when the backstories for each of the characters came up. The plot is a bit basic, the gang is attempting to prevent a world calamity and whatnot, but it works. The animation of the show is also amazing. I'm a huge fan of DC animated projects and this one stands out as one of the best. Highly recommend!
This film was made for the fans. If you're a fan of Wolverine, Deadpool, and the MCU as a whole, this film was made for you. There are countless cameos and Easter eggs throughout the film that will honestly leave you speechless. Also, Hugh Jackman's performance as Logan/Wolverine is as amazing as ever in this film. The chemistry between Hugh Jackman/Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds/Deadpool is on another level. The film has the comedy down, and the action is simply amazing. The MCU in recent times has had a bad rep regarding its cheesy comedy and it's rough special effects, but this film brings the MCU back to top form.
Avatar as a really strong connection to my childhood (I'm a 90s baby and grew up as a kid in the 2000s). So when Netflix announced a live action adaptation I wasn't quite sure what to think. The special effects are not the best and it does hinder emersion. The comedy also does not land nearly the same as it did to it's animated counterpart. The fight scenes are decent but once again, they can't hold a candle to the original source material. It's hard to watch the live action adaptation and not compare it to the animated series. Netflix tries to pull the nostalgia of millennials to get more viewership, so this practice will not stop anytime soon...
