I love this movie. It is one of my all time fave's. Romero shows us all of Capitalisms bad points and plasticness in one film, complete with gore galore! I love the way in which everything seems so colourful, to the point of it being nauseating!
There are several points in the film that I like. My favourite must be when the protagonists are trying to block the shopping mall entrances with trucks. Romero build up the tension in each frame of film, culminating in an enevitable disaster!
See how many mistakes and errors you can see in this film. The two major ones I have noticed are when the truck reverses over a supposedly dead zombie, only to have it be pushed back in such a way as to reveal it is only a shop dummy in disguise! The other is when the bikers break into the mall and they start fighting the zombies. If you look closely at the zombie girl in the white t shirt who falls to the floor after another zombie has been thrown against an indian tent, you can see the actress roll to get out of the way before the shot is cut. This is another reason why I like the film so much, its sense of rawness and roughness adds to the enjoyment!
Hope romero goes ahead with dusk of the dead!

Where to start? This must be one of the campest zombie films ever made. But that does not mean it's no good! If you are in to bad zombie films, then this is for you. The dubbed version is a must see, as the accents must be heard to be believed! My favourite character must be the professor, complete with huge black beard, who is the only one to know the secret!!
Watch this one with the lights off, and several cans of lager!!!

Less of a video, more of an experience! Follow the adventures of Wheeler (John King III) and Slick (Tommey Lamey) as they plot to obtain filthy lucre from local oil baron Mr Phillips (Herschel Mays). Watching this film may make you laugh or cry, but most probably it will make you do both! Check out the over the top dialogue e.g. Slick telling Phillips "Nowwwwwww I got Your Asss" after the chase through the woods, the flashbacks to Wheelers childhood (complete with shoddy editing and booming noise!), and the legendary beer pouring over barmaid at the end. A must for all bad movie fans.
