You know what's not good? A whole theater full of movie goers laughing at a movie that's supposed to be suspensful. There are some things that just defy logic when it comes to this movie... here are a few (warning: I give away some major plot points so don't read this if you don't want to know) *When Madison follows "Jake" into the parking lot and Ben grabs her, she does not say ANYTHING that would incriminate her at all. Ben, on the other hand, is threatening to cut her throat and what not. She just asks if Ben thinks she's stupid and says that she did it for them (as a couple). Then they're all like, "Gotcha! On tape! The police are here! You're arrested!" Craziness... *When Madison is arrested, why did they handcuff her in the front of her body? Why was a police officer sitting in the back of the cop car with a girl they think committed a murder? There was room in the front! And how did she manage to shoot both of the policemen that quickly with handcuffs on? Then how did she get them off? *Madison knows that Ben is a very good swimmer and can pick locks. She has personally witnessed both of these things. Then, WHY does she think it'd be a good idea to tie his girlfriend to a chair while handcuffed and try to drown her? I mean, she has to know that he's going to save her pretty easily. And girlie was only under the water for a few minutes or so... can't she hold her breath? Why was she unconcsious? Also, Madison had the gun from when she escaped the police (or at least that's what one would think). Not that I'm promoting gun violence but why didn't she use it?
There's so much more to ask but I think that gives you my confusion about the film. The only redeeming factor was that it was a nice visual for me seeing Jesse Bradford and his male cohorts minus a shirt :)

If i have to hear that damn Crazytown "Butterfly" song ever again in my life, I'd be too soon. If you've seen this movie, I think you should understand. There are many other good songs on this soundtrack but all I got to hear was the same song about 3 or 4 times! argh.
Last Call has nothing to do with the fact that Carson is an MTV VJ. He does not do 'monologues' or try to be a comedian. He just interviews the guests. Most shows are all about pure promotion of a new movie, TV show, whatever. In my opinion, Last Call goes beyond "So, tell me about this movie" and "Let's see a clip." I think that Carson lets people talk (unlike some other reviewers of the show think) and let's them talk about things they normally might not get to talk about. Janine Garafolo was on recently and she sat for almost her whole segment discussing what she DID NOT like about MTV, etc... From my perspective, Carson likes what he's doing at Last Call and I personally hope it continues. The reason Carson isn't like Pauly Shore is because Carson isn't just a sight gag. He isn't the Andy Dick or Tom Green of MTV. What about Jon Stewart? He was on MTV. Being on MTV does not automatically make you incompetent or incapable of ever being successful again. I think some people need to give the show a chance and actually watch it before they judge it.
