Ballerina is John Wick but if John Wick was less entertaining and less realistic. Not to say Ballerina was bad at all. It's not even mid. It's actually above-mid but that's about how far I would rate this film.
Seeing Norman Reedus in this was so weird. Only highlights was only when Baba Yaga himself made appearances but other than that? Meh. I did like the fight scenes, but of course I would, it's in the John Wick universe. A bad fight can't occur. I liked the dark color theme, giving the aesthetic of the John Wick films and finally, I liked the villain, but he was not explored enough or given enough screen time for me to care. But honestly I'll leave it at this. This was just a little above-mid tier film, nothing more, nothing less.

The new Avengers(z)... bunch of normie superheroes, who can only throw punch and kicks and the occasional gunfire, teams together to fight one of the strongest beings in the entire Marvel Comics and now the MCU.
First looking at this premise, you wouldn't really find it that interesting from the plot alone but from the good reviews i've heard about it and the relatively high ratings, I decided to give it a chance. I actually liked it. The comedy didn't really take over the movie (cough, Thor Love and Thunder, cough) and this film was actually true to the comics when it comes to who is stronger than who which now a days is very rare to see in an MCU film. I was pleasantly surprised by Thunderbolts. But if I'm going to be honest... Mr Lewis Pullman was definitely the highlight of this entire thing. Every scene he was in was gold. Definitely one of the better MCU movies recently and a very fresh breath of air to the universe.

Set in the year 2054, the plot follows a man who joins a space colony as an "Expendable", a disposable worker who gets cloned every time he dies.
Mickey 17 is definitely my least favorite Bong Joon Ho movie but even then, I still enjoyed it. This man is incapable of making a bad movie. The plot was executed amazingly, Robert Pattinson as usual is just such an amazing actor (Twilight aside), playing the awkward and timid Mickey Barnes and Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette played funny hateable villains. Mickey 17 is definitely one of the better movies that came out this year of 2025. Give it a watch.
