Prashanth and Shalini nailed their roles. I dont know why this movie was not a blockbuster. It deserves to be celebrated like Kadhalukku Mariyadhai. Excellent music by SA Rajkumar. Overall it is a good remake of the cult classic Niram. Great movie depicting how friendship turns into love. Director Kamal has skilfully adapted his Malayalam original to suit the Tamil sensibilities. Supporting cast like Manivannan, Nizhalgal Ravi, Ambika, Manorama, Kovai Sarala, Dhamu, Charlie, Vaiyapuri have all given good performances. If only this movie had become a big hit Prashanth would have also become a big star like Vijay.
Samantha's transformation from an innocent working woman to a violent fighter is simply amazing. Especially in the final scene where she is forced to sleep with her boss her performance is riveting and raw.
One of the most boring movies I have ever seen. In fact I loved the director's earlier works like Angamaly Diaries but this was simply horrible. Pointless story that goes nowhere from start to finish.
