Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker (1991) is the 5th entry in the Silent Night, Deadly Night franchise. This movie was a step up from the last movie even though that isn't really saying much.
Positives for Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker (1991): This movie focuses on Christmas and it has some unique ideas to the story. The cast does a great job with their performances including William Thorne, Mickey Rooney, Jane Higginson, Tracy Fraim and Brian Bremer. The killer toys are a cool idea and I like how they kill people. The practical and digital effects are very wackiness and insane in a good way. And finally, this is one of those movies that I rewatch during the Christmas season.
Negatives for Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker (1991): There is some weirdness that is too odd for me and it feels like a bad joke. This movie still takes place during the original timeline of the franchise and it makes no sense since Clint Howard has a smaller role in this movie. And finally, the young boy is a weirdo who does things he shouldn't be doing.
Overall, Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker (1991) is an okay continuation of the Silent Night, Deadly Night franchise even if it shouldn't be part of the franchise at all.

Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990) is the 4th entry in the Silent Night, Deadly Night franchise and it is literally Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) except this movie is pretty mediocre.
Positives for Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990): This movie is very weird with the story and plot which isn't shocking given that it was directed by Brian Yuzna, the man who gave us Re-Animator (1985), so he knew what he was doing here. Neith Hunter and Clint Howard are pretty good as Kim Levitt and Ricky Baker respectively. The kills are insane and ridiculous, but in an entertaining way. You do get some bugs in the story. And finally, this is one of those few horror movies that you need to watch it just to experience the weirdness of it.
Negatives for Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990): The fact that the filmmakers made this movie an entry in the Silent Night, Deadly Night franchise is insane because it shares nothing in common with the previous movies. There are some characters who are just dummies that need to die. And finally, the bug side of this movie isn't nearly as good as it was in Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1985).
Overall, Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990) is a weird ass movie in this franchise, but it was better than the last movie and I would watch for the weirdness even though it makes no sense.

Eyes of Wakanda (2025) is the fourth entry in the Black Panther franchise and it is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now this is a show I went into with low expectations and I liked it a lot.
Positives for Eyes of Wakanda (2025): The animation for this show looks amazing. I like the idea of traveling throughout different timelines in Wakanda and seeing different characters doing things. There are some fun action sequences in these 4 episodes. The characters are interesting and you want to see more of them. And finally, this show is easy to binge through on Disney+.
Negatives for Eyes of Wakanda (2025): There are only 4 episodes in the mini series which is fine enough, but I wanted more from the story. I wanted to see more of Wakanda and what it was like before the character we have come to know. And finally, this mini series only exists because Disney needed something for people to watch on Disney+.
Overall, Eyes of Wakanda (2025) is a good animated mini series that did a good job at exploring the world of Wakanda in the past, but I also wanted more from this series.
